When I was younger I was a risk taker. In many ways I still kinda am except for romance. I kinda wish I still was but in terms of relationships I’m more of a doubter.

I’m still very much a risk taker when it comes to chasing my dreams though. For example, I’m working my dream job now and I’ve been wanting to move to my favorite city since I was about 20 (but couldn’t so far due to military service and finances), now I’m trying to put money away, seeking work in my field in that city and planning a move in the next two or three years so if I overcome my past relationship trauma and find my ideal match, great. If not, at least I still have that 😊

Neither? Being serious about a relationship isn't taking a bet. It just kind of happens as you become increasingly comfortable with the person and want to share more of your life with them. By the time you tell them "Hey, we should really consider making this a committed relationship" it's probably already being taken seriously by both of you.

Not interesting in casual things anyway. Seems like more of a chore than anything else to me. Not that serious relationships don't require effort, but at least in that case it's constructive. And not just dealing with the drama that comes from getting attached but trying not to be.

So I’d like to think of myself as a risk taker. I do thinkings that not a lot of people do. I don’t mind heights and I don’t mind small spaces. I asked out a cute guy at my old job before I left. If I didn’t do it I would be thinking about it a lot. Shit rn I’m currently thinking about the major crush I have rn with a guy. I haven’t seen him in 2 months and we haven’t texted in 3 weeks. I do need to call him and interview and I know he will answer the phone. I just have a gut feeling. I think if I do pick him after I’m all done I will probably just ask him out for drinks. I mean I feel like I owe him for helping me with so much! So I’m hoping it works out.

Risk taker since I was a little girl. My husband met me and call me fearless…My son is kinda like me in many ways.. he is a bit more safe nowadsy…I am pushing him to take more riskes.

I dont really see it like that, its more like finding a compatible person that checks off all the boxes, it would be risky to date aomeone you know full well you don't actually want to be with for long term and get them pregnant and regret it
