We see that when bisexual women choose to date women they describe dating much more difficulty compared to men; this is further supported by transmen. When we look at divorce rates between lesbians and gay men, we see that the divorce rates are way higher when it comes to lesbians.

For example:

"More lesbians than gay men get married, but the discrepancy in divorce rates is much wider than that in marriage rates. Gay men account for 44 per cent of same-sex marriages in the latest data, but make up only 26 per cent of divorcees."

When we look at heterosexual marriages, 80% of divorces are initiated by women with 55% of first time marriages likely to fail.

Do you think that when it comes to relationships that gay men are much happier than all other couples?

Sorry Ladies, don't need your input on this one. Everytime a question is asked on this topic y'all leave infantile hallow answers about "you're just mad you can't get any sex". Grow up.

Do you think most people's romantic "love" to each other is based on superficial conditional things first (height, money, good looks in men, or hot body in women)?

Or is it that most people who end up in long term relationships are "truly meant for each other" and would've found each other, regardless of looks, height, social status, age, etc?

Notice I said MOST (60 to 90% of people), not all. Obviously, my answer is no. I'm physically unattractive and have literally nothing going for me in looks/physical, so I can confirm that "personality alone" isn't enough to make "love happen."

But that's just what I think. What do you think?

An Emotional Caretaker is some own who avoids conflict in order to appease the other half the relationship in order to make them happy. They do this because the genuinely care for the other person and would rather themselves feel upset, hurt or anger then to cause the one they love to be hurt or upset. The long-term hope for the caretaker is that it the relationship will improve over time and eventually the other person will love and respect them on the same level that they love and respect their partner.

An Emotional Manipulator is some who is magnetically drawn to a caretaker, regardless of what the caretake does for them there is always a higher expectation for more. They make it hard for a caretaker to set boundaries or stand their ground an issue, because they constantly crossing lines or changing the aim of their target by deflecting and redirecting conversations or disagreement into other fronts and areas. Until it because too much for the caretaker to want to persist in the argument.

Most Caretakers do not see themselves as victims. Manipulators make themselves the victim in every scenario and do not always consciously know or acknowledge to themselves that the are using or taking advantage of anyone.

SO I will assume most will manipulators would never admit to be being one and by and large I do no think a true emotional manipulator has a complete grasp on who and what they really are. Most of time the behaviors of the manipulator are very subtle, passive and subconscious. They easily justify everything by making themselves the victim, and there by justifying their behaviors.

In every other sense of the term, I am a solitary person.

I exclusively pursue work that allows me a high degree of autonomy, I don't have many friends and I like it that way, if I'm ever in a place with a large amount of people in it, it's always for a specific reason that doesn't involve those people (even if it's as simple as "there's a lake and the view is nice"), and my alone time is extremely important to me.

But my girlfriend and I always need to at least be in contact with each other. We'll both readily admit that we're needy as fuck.

I have a very hard time imagining myself living like a complete hermit because then I start thinking "what about baby?"

A hermit's life WITH her and just her.. I can imagine pretty easily. We fantasize about it to each other often.

I would say so. One day I’m gonna need a girl to share my life with, marry and have babies with.
So yes I would say I need a girl.

I work with this girl that is really pretty and we are part of the same team so we talk all day together but it’s entirely work related. We have lunch together. We always sit next to each other in meetings and I’m starting to catch feelings for her but I don’t act on them because I have a girlfriend but those feelings for her are there. I get butterflies and everything.

Would you go back to your ex-gf if she was still super hot while your current girlfriend was letting herself go and sort of not trying to keep herself sexually attractive in your eyes?
