My friend's spouse and she have been married for about 12 years. There was this girl he wanted to date, but she moved away. She has returned from Illinois to Memphis. Her mother appears to be causing a problem by adding her husband on Facebook. Her mother disrespects his wife by calling her daughter and informing her about the man. Now that she has returned after all these years, she is attempting to spice things up. This girl cheats in every relationship. She has a child but didn’t bother to tell the guy he wasn’t the father until teenage years.

I’m curious about what other couples do. I try to get into the habit of saying good morning and good night every day with my boyfriend to remind him that I’m thinking about him from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. I find that if he doesn’t say it, I feel like I miss him painfully but if he does say it, I still miss him but I feel a sense of comfort. And if I don’t say it, I feel like my day hasn’t started/ended fully. Let me know your thoughts!

I have procrastinated on ending a relationship simply because I didn’t want to lose the dog. The relationship was no longer working but held off on breaking it off out of fear that I would never get the chance to see the dog ever again. Have you ever forced yourself to stay in a relationship for a similar reason? Or have you at least stayed for reasons other than love even though you were clearly unhappy?

Some people have very appealing personalities and are able to attract others to them like moths to a flame, while others tend to draw people away from them... Which are you?

If a friend or relative invited you to a commitment ceremony (not an actual wedding) would you come or not?

The reason I've asked if because my parents were invited to a relative's commitment ceremony recently. It was a private invitation with just them and their close friends that knows about their situation. The woman is disabled and gets benefits from that. If they get married, they'll remove her from those benefits so her boyfriend is trying to work harder to get promoted so he can add her to his policy, they'll get married afterwards, she'll continue getting benefits through his insurance and they can file taxes together. They have no kids but would like to adopt.

Due to the specific nature of the case, my parents are coming to the invitation. However, if it were done for the simply reason of hating marriage or the typical ''I want marriage and he just wants a commitment ceremony'' and no one is struggling financially nor suffering anything, other than refusing to married, then nope. In that case, my parents wouldn't be driving 2 hours away, excusing themselves from work and go out of their way for a ceremony that's not an actual wedding. I think he same too. It depends on why. I'm not missing school for nothing.
