Does the Quran Say Anything about Suicide?

The Koran addresses this issue by providing solutions and giving it a clear and simple, a great importance. In the Quoran, it is strictly forbidden to kill oneself.

Do not kill yourselves, God is Merciful to you." (Quran 4:29)

God informs every believer: It is information full of misericordia, optimism and hope.

If we know that most cases of suicide are due to the loss of hope in everything that concerns us and surrounds us, you can see the importance of citing the mercy in this matter specifically. It is a highly effective measure that the Qur'an has taken. God the Almighty says immediately afterwards:

Whoever acts thus out of malice and being unjust [1] [39 ] - we will make him suffer [the punishment of] fire: and , certainly, that is easy for God

“Al Baqara” [The Cow] is the second chapter of the Koran. Verse 154 of al-Baqara reads:

"And say not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah, “They are dead.” Nay, they are living, but you perceive (it) not."

A suicide bomber may appear clearly dead to any onlooker, but technically speaking, he did not commit suicide if he was transferred living to Paradise.

The ability to go directly to Paradise without all the usual formalities is an important recruiting tool for radicals who convince recruits that dying in the way of God is a far better fate than suffering the trials and tribulations of an ordinary death.

I don't think there is such a religion that is for suicide. All religions even polytheistic religions forbid suicide.

I don't believe in Hell. It's flawed because it's humans who thinks reward vs punishment and revenge. It's humans who've difficulty with seeing things from another perspective than our own. Humans may be a certain way, but that don't mean higher powers or other species are the same as us. They can think completely different. If it exist a god sending people to Hell and is all for letting already suffering people suffering more, it's not a god worth worshiping. I don't believe in an egoistical god.

People do suicide because they've it difficult and it's not their fault if they didn't know about anything better. Creating a world full of suffering and evilness, then making people suffering so they feel the need to kill themselves and then sending them to Hell sounds gruesome. Very gruesome god you believe in. An all-mighty god could also prevent evil, so people didn't kill themselves.

I believe suicide is wrong, but not necessary a sin against God. But it's a sin against other humans. Why suicide is wrong is because it can hurt the person's family and friends. In addition it can scare people unnecessary. Death is scary enough as it's already, so choosing to do it instead of the nature doing it sounds more extreme then. Suicide also takes away your opportunity to get new experiences, do a change etc. The most unexpected things happens often at the most unexpected times. People should give themselves a change. Things can get better with time. Both for their own and for their loved one's sake.

People aren't always doing wrong because they've an evil intention. Some do it because they don't know what to do and is desperate.

It states - "O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful."
Meaning suicide is prohibited and is as wrong as homicide.
In fact it also states that: "if you kill one innocent human being it as though you have killed the whole of humanity and if you save someone's life it as though you have saved the whole of humanity". Islam is clearly and most definitely against taking someone's life away and Allah SWT teaches muslims to be righteous.

How can it be 'love' when The One you offer the 'love' by killing yourself with suicide thinks that what you do is wrong? That's the simplest logic.
