just take good part in religion. don't let it become a burden.
not a single person can follow the 10 commandments anyway. sure they can on the outside. on the inside who knows.
Well if it's nearly impossible to follow every commandment or every word god says, then why not just don't? I read the bible cover to cover, for educational purposes, & it contradicts itself many times. I feel people can believe in any deity without any rule book. It's really not that hard to be a decent human being. The main thing is to not cause harm to others.
We each get to make choices in life right or wrong, and we must live with the consequences.
I agree & so far, there haven't been any consequences for my actions. So thank you! :)
Just be yourself, religion does not have to be apart of your life, I think there are guy friendly churches.

I think it's really funny that we never hear Satan's side of the stories. It's always just whatever God says, because his word is True right? Which Satan was created by God, an angel Lucifer & God created him to be a perfect being. Then this perfect being either envied God for his power & wanted it. Or saw flaw in what God does & opposed it, so was condemned by the one who created him. Also since God is an all-knowing being, why was all of this necessary? Was it just to strike fear in those who try to oppose him again? There a many plot-holes within the bible that leave many of us questioning.
He fell out of heaven because of his pride , 5 times consecutively against Gods will. (PRIDE)... Was the problem
Yet he was still created by god & god knew what he would become all along. So in a sense, god created evil himself. Don't create a bad thing if you don't want bad things to happen. Yet god does so consistently, because everything happens for a reason right? It's all his tests to strengthen his followers.
And an example to pick a better choice for ourselves. Makes no sense to follow a bad example does it? How blind can a non-beliver be...
The devil doesn't want to be superior of God , just (equal) ... funny how a lot of women scream equality , but following the exact same foot steps as the devil. Then again true equality is with his believers and will be in Heaven for both.
There is no equality in the bible though. "Obey thy husband, as you obey me." The bible is full of ways to keep woman oppressed.
Not true... Men and women are instructed to follow Jesus differently. And there is total equality with men and women of the Lord. Just because men are instructed to follow Christ as the woman follows her husband to Christ doesn't mean inequality. Women are considered deceptive according to God , this is why (NO) woman can be head of a man for any reason , including pastoral.

THAT, that right there is inequality. Women are naturally deceptive creatures, so we won't give them any rights to make any decisions.
There is not any inequality within the Holy spirit , or oppression or any thing else evil in the Holy spirit. Only man and womankind do this to each other.
I will agree to disagree then. I only felt lonely & depressed within his "Love".

It's not within your judgement to say I was or wasn't though. That's something many of you believers think you have the power to do & you don't. You weren't there to see me at my worst & my best. When I believed & when I didn't anymore. You say I didn't believe as hard as you, because you really feel like you're closer to God than all the other people. Then people who agree with you & say "Yes brother! I feel the same!!!" Then you believe them? That's so fucking stupid. You only believe what a book tells you & what others tell you. If I didn't make this post & I made one about going to church & having a great time. All of you instead of throwing hell-fire hatred at me, would be all Jesus-loving & praise me for it. Yet you only act as you're told. You never think for yourselves. Continuous brainwashing.
I only believe the wisdom I receive from my prayers. God doesn't give you strength to fight , he gives you strength to build. A wise man or woman builds with his/her mouth , from the law of kindness.
Tell that to all the other believers in this post being very unkind towards me then. Practice what you preach!

& I'll be there when it does. Everyone is incapable of escaping consequences within every choice they make. If you use plastic straws, you're part of the reason the ocean's ecosystem is becoming imbalanced. If you use your straightness or whiteness to your advantage, you're making it harder for minority rights to be taken seriously. If you smoke in public areas, you're making others susceptible to getting lung cancer as well. There are many things people refuse to stop doing, because they see nothing wrong with it. I never said what I'm doing is the only right way, but it's what benefits my life more than when I was a believer.
you're simply asking for trouble, then. sun is like a drug-sure-it's fun now-but many prices aree paid-this reminds me of a quote from the dark knight ''Buyer beware. I told you my compound would take you places. I never said they were places you wanted to go!'' i like to think the voice of sin says the same.
The only trouble I'll have is if hell exists. If so, I'm going there with two middle fingers held high.
