This mytake is the first of a two part series, next time I'll give a rundown on televangelists to avoid. A lot of the church (Christian) has been led astray by the devil and has began a false doctrine of prosperity gospel. A lot of the televangelists that you see on TV should be avoided, The Bible is not about how to get rich.
1 Timothy 6:10 (MEV) "For the love of money is the root of all evil. While coveting after money, some have strayed from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
So here are some televangelists that I've vetted and don't teach prosperity gospel which I also highly recommend.
1. Joyce Meyer Ministries
Encouraging and uplifting with a sense of humor, I always learn something new from her. She also does a lot of charitable work overseas.
2. Jimmy Swaggart Ministries
Home of Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Sonlife Broadcasting Network a 24/7 TV network. I tune in regularly to worship and hear a sermon, Jimmy has many CDs so he mostly leads the worship services, and his son Donnie always gives a powerful sermon. JSM also has an accredited college.
(Jimmy)
(Donnie)
3. Irvin Baxter / EndTime Ministries
A trusted source in Bible prophecy and the book of Revelation.
4. Perry Stone Ministries
Bible historian and speaker.
5. Rick Wiles / TruNews
News network that reports news that the mainstream media won't touch with a ten foot pole, I regularly watch TruNews and I've found it to be reliable. TruNews reports from a biblical perspective but is not preachy. Rick Wiles is also a pastor and has a church in Vero Beach, Florida called Flowing Streams church.
So this is my recommend watch list, thanks for reading.

Lol Joyce Meyer? Really? You started out wrong.
They are all super rich and love advertising and selling their books to the religious ignorant on a religious network for a quick dime.
Should they give away all of their books away for free? Then they'll go bankrupt. Last time I checked it's not a sin to have money as long as you don't have a love of money, people are just simply interested in their messages and they just so happen to make some money along the way. I'm on the lookout for prosperity gospel when someone proclaims "God wants you to be rich!", "God will bless you with money!" twisting scripture like that. The like of Joel Osteen and Creflo Dollar is apostasy, in fact Creflo Dollar was begging his followers for money for a new private jet. More on that in my next mytake.
First of all Joy Meyer has no business being a pastor. The woman is a fraud man. You have no discernment.
And it's wrong to sell a book claiming on how to get your prayers answers from God etc for money etc. TV preachers are scammers dude.
I know most of them are and I don't watch them but I don't believe Joyce is one, I've been watching her for a long time. But I guess we have to agree to disagree. But if I ever hear anything fishy then I'll go from there.
love of money root of all evil lol

@deniseexe I believe that she's staying true to the Bible if that's what you're trying to ask.
the bible is a literal book
not metaphor
@deniseexe Sure. What does that have to do with Joyce Meyer? You're not expressing yourself and communicating that well and it's kind of difficult to understand and follow you.
that's how I know you are blind
it's literally right in front of you
and you can't even see it
whenever I speak about religion
in general
IT IS LITERAL
not a single word that comes out my mouth about religion will be metaphor
