It's not fasting if you stuff your face before and after sunrise.

Beside. I was fasting when I was young with my Muslim family and trust me you don’t feel any hungriness with the amount of food each family consume during the shour at 3-4 am. In fact peoples gain weight during Ramadan because they just eat the équivalant of 3 dinner in 1. It’s a shitty culture because they throw you in jail in some Muslim countries if you don’t fast, unless you’re ill or a pregnant woman or a girl in your periods, I study for my exams and I have to hide my self for eating. So don’t encourage this shit
I have a lot of friends who fast and I even fasted and instead of getting some compassion for poor peoples and the family reunions you talk about, it’s just make us spending our time making new recipes, and buying more food. It’s like a Thanksgiving but for everyday
Well then the country is not following the rules properly. Also it depends how you fast. You can lose weight when fasting. When it's time to break don't eat that much.
All the Muslim countries are like this. In fact mine is less strict than the others. I have seen a woman being attacked in her car by a bunch young men for breastfeeding her baby, and they called her names worse than a whore. I only hate this culture because Muslims force it on the others In their country but make it look like a lovey dovey tradition when they live in Europe in the USA. Thing that I call a very hypocrite behavior. The only moments when they don’t force their rules is when they are in someone else’s country! So that’s when they play the victims. It’s okay to practice your religion but don’t force it in the others to make it look like a cute thing because it’s not when you learn that peoples are throwed in jail for drinking a bottle of water under a sun of 104 Fahrenheit !

Yeah no. I'm not gonna fast for those reasons, which are either just not applicable (reason 2), I don't care about (reason 3), not required (reason 5 , 4 and 1).
I don't care about any of that. My family? I can't stand them. I'll just take the food

Yes, I agree with this. However, I’m a student and I have to eat something in order to pass my last exams, which are the finals. I can’t study when I’m hungry so I unfortunately.

Yeah, that’s all actually why we do it for. I am Muslim, i don’t really do it but it’s a very good thing.
You should do it, it is an amazing thing
Okay. I'll do that when Muslims start worshipping Easter 👍
If you wanna get technical Easter is not even originally a Christian holiday.
I know Jews also celebrate it yes...
Jews don't celebrate Easter lol
Sry I meant they had an event at the same time. Passover.( More or less same time )
If you give a shit about starving people then go vegan.
We feed 56 billion land animals massive amounts of foods while 1 billion people starve.
None of these things that supposedly happen because of Ramadan is unique to it. I think its a load of nonsense.
It's a stupid idea. How are people in Iceland going to do it. Ramadan is bullshit.
They use astrological linings. Like using a telescope to calculate sunrise to sunset. It's not just a visual thing.
I do not or would i do that. Muslims faith is not my faith
Just try it for one day.
i do intermittent fasting but i dont care about ramadan

Refreshing MyTake. Thanks for posting it.
I do fasting on Easter, but it's the Christian one
Yeah that's not as hard.
Let's name it "Be a homeless for a day challenge".
And the daily bombings?
What about them? What does that have to do with Islam?
This is a nice take.
Interesting
How come both ur parents are but u aren't.
