Hello to everyone! Apple here! This is the second mytake within 15 hrs but I didn't really got any work now and it is my writing time so I thought of sharing a mytake to you all about Palmistry or what we call Palm reading which I learnt from my mom. I'm not proffessional as my mom of course but I do know the basics. Enjoy!

What is Palmistry?

Palmistry or Palm reading is a type of fortune telling. Meaning your lines of Palms hold your life. The lines molded in your Palms by your day to day activities say the life you are going to get from your work you are currently doing. It is also said that Babies keep their palms shut tightly because they are holding their fortune. However I'm reminding you it is nothing to be taken seriously. If you get good results that doesn't mean you won't work hard because you have a great fortune. You need to work hard. If you get bad results then also you need to work hard. Palmistry shouldn't be taken seriously as it is for entertainment purpose only and it isn't very accurate.

Basics Palm lines :

• Brain line (Maturity line) : Tells about the length of smartness and how much wise and mature a person is. Longer the Brain line more mature the person is. Rarely someone doesn't have this Brain line.

• Heart line (Sensitivity line) : Tells about how much strong a person is emotionally and how strong their decision making is. Longer the line the more stronger heart the person have. Rarely someone doesn't have this line.

• Fate line (career and money line): This line says how much secure your career will be and how much wealthy you will be. Longer the fate line more secure career and more wealth a person have. Averagely many people have this line. It isn't really deep like Heart and Brain line but it is clearly visible.

Lifeline (Life span and life breaks line) : This line says how much longer you will live. If this line is broken at a point that means something disastrous will happen. Maybe a Natural disaster, Financial problems, Family problems or anything difficult. That broken point is known to have the most difficult point in life. Pretty much almost everyone have this line. It is also not very deep like Heart or Brain line but clearly visible.

Mind Reading line (Power of mind reading) : It is an curve line. The more deep and long this line will be the more stronger the sixth sense of the person is. It means people with a decent Mind reading line can easily know someone's intentions. Everyone have a mind reading line but it is usually very small. Only rare and lucky people have it deep and long.

Opportunity lines (Good luck lines) : They are group of lines. The more the number of Opportunity lines the more good lucks the person have. They are slightly visible. Pretty much everyone have this line.

Obstacle lines (Bad luck lines) : These are also a group of lines but they cut the opportunity lines. They are considered the bad lucks who interrupt our good lucks. Pretty much everyone have this line.

For boys their palm should be read from left hand while for girls their right hand should be read. I'm a girl so the pics below are of right hand. Vice versa for boys. (Don't mind weird lines. I scribbled the lines from my fingers only so yeah)

You can notice a break. That is the point when I will have a difficult time.

I barely have that line but I showed the location incase anyone have this lucky line.

Brain Line

My Brain line is quite deep and long which is a good thing. It tells I'm mature and wise mentally

Heart line

I have squeezed my Palm here that is why my heart line is looking so great but honestly my heart line isn't deep and very long. It is kind of faint. It means I'm bad in decision making and emotional which is true.

Life line

I have a long life. I will survive for around 75-80 years. I have a broken point around my 40's or 50's. I don't know what an old lady will have a serious problem with haha.

Fate line

I have two fate lines. My fate lines aren't really prominent and very faint but yeah I have 2 fate lines which means I will have 2 careers. I hope they are writer and musician. And yeah they are pretty long too although faint and not visible in pics. In financial life I am great.

Opportunity lines

Visible really slightly due to lightings but as I have marked it in location section I hope you all can make out the opportunity lines. I have a nice amount Opportunity lines. Nice.

Obstacle line

Here also lighting problems but yeah I have a good amount of obstacles lines. I wonder what it will be.

Mind reading line

It is a bit visible but it doesn't counts.

I'll take this seriously for a second and propose a rebuttal. Let's take the fate line:
I'm a guy, so I use my left hand; I guess it's a good thing I'm not a woman because, using the logic of palmistry, I don't have a fate line on my right hand and that must mean I'm destined to be homeless with no career prospects. The fate line I do have is very short, so even if I have a career, I must be doomed to modern day serfdom (aren't we all, at this point?) or a very short career, and that's my lot in life. If I took this seriously, I might actually become hopeless and forgo attempts to better myself and then, "well, would you look at that, I did get nowhere." My palm reading has become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

However, that alone is not why palm reading is a pseudo-science: the hand has muscles and connective tissue in very specific areas, and it folds inward in very particular ways, which leads to the folds being very recognizable in most people. You're not going to find someone without a "brain line" or a "heart line" (unless in very specific cases, such as Down's syndrome), because these line occur along certain planar edges required to stretch and warp, in order to do actions like making a fist. A cursory search for "hand circulatory system" returns this link to a picture of the hand's blood supply array and at least one vein or artery (it doesn't say) passes through the area approximately in the region of the proximal transverse palm crease, or "heart line", so in theory there's a plausible explanation for where that term originates. However, the heart line is supposed to determine "how strong a person is emotionally and how strong their decision making is". Unless the logic is "more or less blood pumped through that area increases or decreases cognitive decision-making", the connection is at best a tenuous, ad hoc corroboration of possible underlying medical complications, and at worst, complete guesswork.

Which is to say, palmistry is basically a neat "party trick": you get to imagine that the features of your appendages are linked to supernatural fortune telling. Practically-speaking, it would easier to determine the exact position and velocity of every particle in the universe (which is impossible, because of the Heisenberg principle) than to assume the random divots in your palm have any bearing on your life's trajectory. Any association between a palm reading and actual future outcomes are pure statistical coincidence.

Yeah there are cases where Palm reading told a lot about the person but yes it isn't accurate everytime but mostly Co-incidence. One shouldn't always believe on such things and it is for entertainment purpose only. I appreciate that you are respectful. Thanks for that 😊

Thanks, well done. Great job, I knew absolutely nothing about this until now and still going to take some time as I have a hard time figuring out which lines are which. Especially right now, winter time and my hands are soo dry, they look old and wrinkled. Time to get some lotion in them.

I'd like to mention to the guys that palm reading is an excellent reason to touch your date, tannings another. We're not all stupid cave beasts & some of us know what happens in a female's brain when someone they're attracted to touches them. Also, a great way to not waste time on someone who's not attracted to you. Palm readings an excellent excuse, as well as tanning:)

I learnt it recently. I do like 2-3 readings per week from curious people. I'm not proffessional in it though. Just know the basics.

I have wrote it twice in the mytake that it is just for entertainment purpose. Read the last and second paragraph. I mentioned that it isn't accurate as the handprints change time to time. This isn't to be taken seriously. Kindly read the take before any questions. Zodiac signs, palmistry, tarot cards and all are just fortune games which shouldn't be taken seriously as there is no guarantee that it is accurate. They are just for entertainment purpose and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Whoa that's great if you have deep lines. It means your Palm lines are completely developed.

Yup but still few people don't have their Palm lines very deep and like solid line even after reaching that age. It doesn't happens naturally but due to the work you do and if yours is solid deep then you work too much from your hands I guess.

Oh but it isn't always accurate right? I considered about this but my Palm is yet to develop more so I don't think it is a problem. I haven't even completely developed my main lines and it's mostly blank.

It's accurate if you know what you're looking for and know where to find it. The lines do keep on changing but the change isn't that big. I've seen a few hands myself and I was correct everytime. I stopped studying about it because it's not easy to get people to send their palm pics. And I don't like the hassle.
