A guy I used to like had a quote on his Twitter account that said, “What makes you awkward in one season makes you relevant in the next.”
As a child I had epileptic seizures and accidents that marred my STEM abilities and I was in the gifted program which ruined my self esteem cause after my learning reductions, I was always the dumbest kid in my class, but then:
1 - Being in the gifted program turned out to be a blessing because it lowered the academic expectations of the universities towards me when I applied for undergrad
2 - Not being able to work as an engineer or chemist caused me to become interested in writing, art and unpaid Christian ministry which I now believe is more lucrative than a STEM job
3 - Being older than the others made me a mentor and source of guidance wisdom for the youth and that solidified my role as a teacher
4 - Having been denied an early career, I became more invested in God and less invested in material things that lead to idolatry
I had a dream where God told me if I trusted in Him, he would take the ugly things in my life and make them beautiful
