When you look upon a cross, what does it symbolize or mean to you?
To Christians, what does the Cross symbolize for you?

The word Christian is an adjective - not a noun. It came from pagans mocking believers at Antioch in the 1st century. The cross is also a pagan symbol. So I guess for those who are "true" believers they should mean absolutely nothing.
Christian: Noun
1 a : one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ
www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Christian
The word "christian" didn't become a noun until the apostate catholic church took over. No believers in the 1st century new testament called themselves christians. The "Apostles" never used such a term to refer to a believer. Neither did Yeshua whom catholics/protestants refer to as Jesus. The word "christian" is as pagan as that cross.
I've never really thought about it, but I guess it's a symbol or a reminder not to sin by hurting or judging other people, to be fraternal, to be close and at the same time to fear the wrath of God.
In graves, I think it's for souls to ascend, a sign that God is the One making the final judgement.
I like that it symbolizes my christianity and it makes me feel safe and protected. I often wear cross themed jewelry
To me it symbolizes God sacrificing his only Son to save those whoever believed in Him.
Basically John 3:16.

Fun fact:
Criminals who were crucified weren't buried. Their corpses were fed to animals.
So the reason they couldn't find Jesus in his tomb, was because Jesus was never placed in a tomb to begin with.
Nothing at all. It's a graven image. Thou shalt not worship graven images. You don't need symbols and churches and middlemen to worship god, he's in you and all around you. Honour yourself and your fellow man and you honour god
It means that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from our sins that we shall not perish but have everlasting life if you believe in him accept him as your personal Lord and savior
It symbolizes a barbaric method of torture and execution.
I wouldn't call it barbaric. I mean it didn't kill the biggest schizophrenic lunatic in the history of the planet.
@Deathcore_Rulez_D00d he wasn't the only one, not by a long shot. Pontius Pilate kept records of thousands of so-called prophets claiming to be speaking the word of some God and he crucified, tortured and executed them all.
Although for some strange reason none of the records we have mention a person resembling the Jesus character from the bible. In fact the letter J wasn't invented until 1600.
But who cares about those little details and facts?
yeah and did you see my post?
Christians like to use the fact that they couldn't find Jesus's corpse in his tomb as proof that he resurrected, but the Romans didn't put those who were crucified in tombs to begin with.
@Deathcore_Rulez_D00d we can't find the tomb of Horus either, so when he rose from the dead that must be proof that he is the son of God.

Yeah I actually posted a question on GaG earlier and used that exact same image.
Jesus, salvation, sacrifice, love.
And a reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made for all of humanity not something that should be taken lightly.
It means a false prophet claimed to be God, and got what his own torah said he deserved for it.
Love and protection
I don't think of the crucifixion when I see it.. just my religion in general
That jesus died there for our sins and I should care for others in exchange... I guess
