The Cross or Christ on the Crucifix have been symbols of Christianity all of my life. I wonder if something like below would be a good symbol because it symbolizes the Resurrection, rather than Christ's suffering?

I would use a basket or a dove instead. A basket represents a celebratory event to me cause its associated with food and tenderness. And a dove represents purity and forgiveness cause it flies above instead of clinging to the land the way four footed creatures do.
Part of it, yes- but the suffering is the core of what Christianity's about. The proto-Jews weren't monotheists, but henotheists, which is why the Pharaoh's priests' staves also turned into snakes; their gods were REAL, just less powerful. The ten plagues were about showing superiority, and humiliating the Coptic gods- and that humiliation culminated in the slaughter of innocent children.
Christianity isn't just about miracles, or it would've been left behind long ago- Jesus said "I shall multiply your bread", and does, and we call him a god. Monsanto says "I shall multiply your entire grain harvest, every year, forever", and does, and we call them the devil. The Incarnation wasn't necessary theologically; God is all-powerful, and could forgive humanity's sins with the blink of an eye. It was necessary to prove to us that God actually meant all His talk about love; to finally put some divine skin in the game.
too subtle. in fact my reaction was like rebel here.
an alternative to crucifix is the cross alone, symbolizing the cross was empty because he revived. but at my church people also don't wear cross, and one reason is as you said the cross is the death, that alone happened to many criminals so not a good symbol. so instead: no symbol. even a butterfly similar but too subtle.

Love for one another among those forsaking all they have to share all things communally in obedience as one to all Yehoshua commanded, is the symbol the Savior specified will be the sign to the world of His followers. Man invents extra stuff in the absence of willingness to do and be as Yehoshua specified, but Yehoshua's own words from His own mouth are the standard He set which He says will never pass away, all power over all things having been given to Him from the Creator.
suffering and struggle seems essential to overcoming the barrier to God. If it's all based upon sugar and honey, people won't value it.
but don't let me stop you from your vision...
It is a strange thing isn't it...
Actually they were not "symbols" until well into the Roman Church forming.
The early Christians neither knew, or recognised, the cross. For them it was a demeaning instrument of torture.
I don't know I think the cross is perfect.. Because it's a symbol and reminder that Christ died and suffered for the world.. Plus he redeemed the thief on the cross as well.. But that symbolism seems good as well..
Use it if you must - and meet confusion.
The crucifix is well known. So was the "fish" once.
If a doughnut does the trick is debatable :)
If you’re suggesting it should replace the Cross rather than it just being its own thing then WRONG. I suppose it isn’t a bad idea but that is just disrespectful
What about this?
it's hard to put that on a pendant or hang it on a wall compared to a cross or crucifix
As long as the symbol does not itself become an object of worship like Nehushtan it is fine.
Christ is a turncoat traitor, who believed he was the son of god, blasphemy
Yeah worshiping a Hobbit will work I guess
The cross symbolises Spartacus far better.
Is his Resurrection superior to his death?
I like it.
