Marriages between people of different religions are pretty common. I think the biggest question for a couple that wants children is "How will the children be raised?"
Certainly not easy, but possible. The less religion is important to them, the more likely it is to work. You can't have a devout Christian and Muslim work for example.
Depends on which religions, and how dedicated the partners are to their faiths. I am dating a Hindu girl, and I'm an Eastern Christian (which definitely has an Islamic vibe to it). Some religions are definitely more compatible than others.
Not if the goal is eventually having a family... the avoidance of talking about beliefs and planned background for the children ~~ education, religion , etc.~~ is one of the main cause of divorce

My girlfriend is Buddhist. The gives this little elephant statue like fruit and glasses of milk and stuff and I take the piss out if it like "he didn't eat his lunch. That's the third year in a row" lol and she gets pissed off. I'm an atheist.
actually no, it can work, firstly not all muslims have more than 1 wife, everyone in my family is only married to 1 and no more so stop spreading stupid false shit also go burn yourself to death cuz actually a muslim and christian relationship can work cuz my girlfriend is christian and i am muslim and we have no problems related to religion!
@Batmaaan3 Being a Christian and being a practicing Christian are two different birds of a feather. Lots of people claim to be Christian but haven't even read the Bible.
@Batmaaan3 She was probably baptized as a Christian but is not a practicing Christian then. I she were, I don't see how the relationship could've worked given the rules of the religion.
Hahahaha ! That was hilarious ! OMG hahahahaha i can't stop laughing ! .. Dating? and a non muslim ! ? Well , i don't know what islam do you follow.. because the orginal islam forbids women to be with another religion guys :D :D
Not for me marriage is something I always wanted in a church not just by law

It depends on how extreme the views of the people are. Non-religious & moderates can make things work. Extremely devout won't work without someone else that is extremely devout.

Of course it can. Whether it is likely to is a different matter. If the couple doesn't have kids or plan to have them, or is too old for that, then it is probably easier.

I don't think so. I can't stay under the same roof with a man who has completely different beliefs and way of life than mine.
I think so I know people who are married with different religions. But both people have to be okay with it

right on
Yes as long as you are open and honest about yourselves and your practices, you respect each others wishes
Definitely, as long as you give each other space to practice their religion then I don’t think it should cause any issues.

I'm an atheist.
A relationship between a Muslim and a Christian won't work because Muslim men are allowed to have more than one wife.
Wait a minute... wow!

Christians aren't monogamous. There isn't a verse in the Bible that imposes monogamy.

Im a Muslim, Taiwanese
My boyfriend is a Hindu, Indonesian
And Alhamdulillah, we are so happy in our relationship, we always respect each other about religion, culture etc.😊

Only if both are willing to compromise, accept each other and if children are supposed to be involved - accept that they teach both points of view.
If they don't take the religion seriously, absolutely. As a Christian myself, I would never date someone who wasn't (see 2 Corinthians 6:14).
Everything has a chance unless it's atheists/Christian.
Islam and Christians have very little in common. To marry Catholic you must be Catholic, Jew and Jew , so you can't even be mixed in a lot of cases
If you are strict with your religion then you will want someone who follows the same religion and is just as strict.

Can a Star Trek fan marry a Star Wars fan?
Of course, they both worship imaginary tales.
if y'all have kids what religion would y'all teach your kids? this is why i dont believe it would work
