Should there be a term for anti-athiest bigotry? Similar to Islamophobia?

I've heard a lot of religious people express hatred and bigroty towards athiests. In the Usa the bigotry is clear, in a 2015 gallup poll 40% of americans said they would reduse to vote for an athiest. In polls athiests show to be one of the lowest trusted groups in america and among religious groups. So with the rise of things like Islamaphobia and anti-semitic, I wonder if athiests should have a similar term for bigotry aimed at athiests, like athiestphobia, so we can call this behaviour out more easily. Thoughts?

Some countries like egypt even have laws prohibiting athiesm, yet we don't have a term for this?

there is already a term. we call it religious indoctrination and it makes you fear and reject everyhing that may contradict your religious believes.

Yes. And I am a Christian. But no one's personal, spiritual, moral, or ethical views should be mocked. Period. As long as it is not offending or harmful to others. Atheism is harmless truly to the view of the Christian. If you are His, you are His and will be found. If not, then not. Christians get too upset over this and ostracize instead of understand.

Regardless, what is your point? Does the fact that some athiests are hateful mean that bigotry does not happen to innocent athiests? You seem to be saying bigotry aimed at athiests doesn't exist, or is okay because some athiests are assholes. If this is your argument then my only point is that every religious group has bad people, I can bring up tons from christianity, from the witch trials to how the killed people for blasphemy, religious people have done terrible things. Today this kind of thing is still going on, in egypt they have blasphemy laws which prohibit you from openly being an athiest, you can be imprisoned, in some (muslim) countries you can even be killed for being an athiest. Given how every major religion seems to want us dead, is it any wonder many athiests are resentful? Christians have shown through history that once you get power we will be killed, almost everytime religion takes over a country, athiests suffer and die. Yet you call us the hateful ones despite literal murder of us for our beliefs? Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Sikh, you've all had your hands painted red with our blood! You have stories about how we will be tortured infinitely for being athiest and you think that is fine! But we are hateful because we resent and fear you for it? You are a hypocrite.

I'm sorry you don't like my username, but I did not choose it in order to offend, I simply had the childhood nickname 'Devil' (because of similarities to my name, Devlin) and it has permeated my online usernames.

To be honest I usually go by "devilslayer" in online video games, I first used it when I was 12, and it's kinda just stuck since I don't usually care enough to come up with something different.
