Why would you refuse as sale in a business? Their money is just as green as any others!!
No if you are just interested in eating, , however if you are trying to make a show off statement than I could careless.
I think it's stupid, personally. It isn't like not taking their order changes anything.
do I look like a faggot
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2L6KepPgEAlol
GOD is above the dome
he is not letting them in his home
they will fuck it up

Glory to my GOD above the dome

it's called common sense

ohh and this video is of real events
Religious people are terrible business owners
Who cares if someone is gay or not, you are there to make money
Money over your feelings
No, it's not. Religious reasoning does not excuse or justify bigotry. To use your religious beliefs to do that to the LGBTQ community is Christian and Catholic hypocrisy and arrogance.
How is it bigotry to not want to bake a cake? Imagine a Jewish or Muslim baker being forced to bake a pork pie and handle pig flesh. Is that ok with you? Religious people should be able to refuse to do something that is against their beliefs.
It's bigotry because you are discriminating against something for what they are, which in this case is gay. Not wanting to handle pork related food is not disrespectful to meat eaters. You can refuse, but depending on who and why is what makes it bigoted.
Forcing a babrber to cut women's hair because it's discriminatory towards women for him to only cut men's hair. You okay with that too?
Your argument leads to all kinds of silly things. Isn't it better to let the man say "no thanks, I don't want to bake a cake for your wedding"? Is that so bad? Will it cause the poor gay couple to have no where to turn for a cake? lol... just leave the Christian businessman alone and let him bake or not bake for whoever he wants. The other way leads to a bunch of laws and forcing people to do what they don't want to do. How is that good? You sure showed that poor old man! Let's close his business and put him in jail or fine him into bankruptcy! Then we will feel pure and righteous! ... it's sad. Be better.
It is OK to refuse to serve anyone. No one has the right to be served by anyone else. Restaurants can refuse to serve Trump supporters. Cake shops can refuse to serve gay couples.
On what grounds. I dont get it
@DaMack999 What grounds do you need? Servicing someone at your business is not a legal battle. You do not have to prove to a jury why you should or should not serve someone. Businesses are private entities. Even GAG as a forum owes us as users nothing. We can be banned at any time for any reason. They do not need grounds. Why should anyone else?
Yes u can't discriminate
Running business cones with responsibilities.
@DaMack999 Responsibility of what? When you run a business, your only responsibility is to make money. If discrimination causes you to lose money, that's something to consider, but if it doesn't then it's not a concern at all.
Define "okay". Is it shitty? Yes. Is it retrogressive? Yes. Should it be illegal? No. We should be allowed to be shitty and retrogressive if shitty and retrogressive is what we want.
No because their religion is supposed to say to treat others with kindness.
So not serving them out of personal prejudice is actually violating their own religion.
It is completely constitutional to refuse them. Same sex marriage is not even constitutional they actually changed the constitution when they allowed it to happen.
Nope! If you’re religious, avoid working with the public in diverse societies
It may not be good business, but you should be free to establish whatever rules you desire if you own the business.
Yeah it would infringe upon religious rights, thing is being religious is a choice, so they would be actively choosing to be prejudiced.
As long as it's ok for us to refuse to serve religious assholes because we don't agree with their bullshit.
I don't have an opinion, but a question : if you are living in a land of same sex and you are heterosexual and you are denied to be served, what would be your reaction and thought?
Instead of having your own opinion, place yourself in the situation.
I guess it's ok to deny service to anyone, just not very good for bussiness... hahahha...
No, it's not OK. You offer a service, you should offer it to everyone.
As long as they are okay with people denying to serve them based on their religion then it should be okay.
yes, especially if lose straight business which there are more of. You can't ask them to go under when you wouldn'T do it.
These liberals are such idiots always a double standard they bitch about this happening yet they wanna keep Chic-Fil-A from being in an airport for believing in traditional marriage to mess up their business.
It's religious freedom. And chikfila doesn't deny service to same sex couples so that's an odd image to use. If you force someone to do what is against their conscience, how is that freedom?
Of course it's okay. They are bold enough to mock the Creator who says male and female should strive as 1 flesh, then we have the right to tell them to find another restaurant.
When people insist that the Bible is the word of God, we should ignore them and exclude them from public discourse. It's a free country, and people have a right to their superstitions in the privacy of their own homes. But no one is required to take them seriously in a public forum.
Calling something a superstition doesn't mean it is. If you can't verify God is not in existence, then you can't say He doesn't exist or you'd be dishonest in saying that since you can't know it.
They can do that to be spiteful but God's Word is what matters in the end. You will be judged by it regardless if you claim He exists or not. Claiming you're atheist, doesn't make it true. God already says there is no such thing as an atheist.
hey finally you are right. Do you believe in Leprechauns? Leprechauns even have a popular brand of breakfast cereal. But that does not mean that Leprechauns exist. We know that Leprechauns are imaginary. Why? Because there is no evidence for their existence. If you do not believe in Leprechauns, what are you? Are you an aleprechaunist? no. You are normal. people who do not believe in God are the same as people who do not believe in Leprechauns. They are rational When a person refuses to believe in a god that person is completely normal. In just the same way that we don't use the word aleprechaunist to describe the people who do not believe in Leprechauns, we should not need the word atheist. We should be able to say, "I am a normal person" and be done with it.
It is hard to tell. If the organization is religious and their work is religious then maybe cause it goes against organizations belief. But whose to say that the same sex couple is not religious
Not in the UK but I think in the states they can. Religion is fucking dumb anyway.
Freedom to choose works both ways. Everyone has the right to say no...
Not in the public marketplace.
@slatyb why not. people have values. Its everyones right to choose. Do I want to do this , if no you say no..
Absolutely. It's a free country.
I'd say it's commendable.
It's perfectly fine they've only forced us to except it everywhere else
Go to another store, not a big deal. Their store, their rules.
Yes it is, a shop owner who doesn't work for the government is free to serve whoever he chooses. It is the law.
In Egypt too?
What is it?
What you said
Yeah it's legal for shop. owners to do so + gay marriage isn't approved by the government and gay parades could result to a prison sentence.
Gay laws and belly dancers are the best 2 things about Egypt
L. O. L.
And historic sites is number 3
Yeah that's true
It's not the law in the US. Private business owners cannot simply refuse service because of race, religion, national origin, etc.
Many states also forbid discrimination because of sexual orientation. This has not yet been tested in the Supreme Court. But the locales whare a discriminating business can continue to get customers is shrinking.
Only if it's ok to refuse service to certain religions based on sexual beliefs lol HELL NO IT IS NOT OK. BRAINWASHED MORONS
Yes definitely, Everyone has a right to interact with people or not, For me its God first and everyone and everything second.
Under the freedoms laid out in the US constitution, yes I think they have that right.
Do I think it is moral? No.
The Supreme Court has disagreed. But they have yet to rule on a case involving services to same-sex couples. Tufts no question that discriminating on the basis of race is illegal.
I stand corrected then
I think if they want to refuse that is there right, and all it will do is hurt their business because they will go to their competitors
Nope! If they are doing business, they should serve the money, and nothing else. For them, a customer should be like a god.
Luigi says: it’s only ok if it is a small local company it’s not good for business but it is the right to refuse service but if it is a large company such as amazon it would be wrong
No not at a business keep ur personal beliefs in ur personal life cuz to me this is the same as refusing to serve a interracial couple or some one who is of a different race or religion
What you want to do behind closed doors is nobody's business that being said I think that it is a little out of hand how comfortable and appearance do still matter to some people
Is it ok to refuse medical treatment to religious people?
That is a dumb comparison.
It really is lmao
On what religion book does it say you can't serve them. I never heard of that.
If you're the owner of the service. Yes
If not , you can't
No it's not okay. Gay people are real, religion is made up nonsense.
No it is not. Same as it was not okay to refuse service based on skin color.
Yeah y is it ok for law to change religious beliefs
I mean like they notnreligious to behin with
Well religion is made up, so... Think about that one. 😉
Ge is the potter, you are the clay. You have it backwards.
*He is
Just like God made the world
If being a retard was a criminal offence we'd have to jail at least 70% of the population.
of course it's wrong to refuse based on this , if you think this way you have mental problems.
Yes.. it's your own interpretation of free speech!! Can't have one sided... Whether we like it or not!
My feeling is that everyone's rights should be respected, not just the rights of minorities.
Yes, it is okay not not serve based on religious beliefs.
It's okay to refuse service to them for any reason, including religious convictions.
Is it OK for a gay citizen to deny serving anyone who subscribes to a particular religion?
If it's their joint, yes. But they'll hardly have any customers then.
Lmao hypocrite
You don't even know what that means.
Religious people have the right to serve who they want, queers have the same freedom. The only difference is, that there are more religious people than queers, so they'll lose business.
I have a strange feeling that if you were refused service simply because of who you are you wouldn't just shrug your shoulders and say "well they have a right to do that"
There are millions of restaurants to choose from. Unlike fags, I'm not a sensitive person. I wouldn't cry "straightphobia" when I wouldn't get service, just take my money elsewhere.
Bahahhahahaha we all know you're the kind of guy that points his finger and everyone and calls them snowflakes, when in reality you're a closeted snowflake yourself.
Not really. I'm not a little bitch like you seem to be.
Someone's triggered 😂😂😂😂😂
No, you'd lose money.
Morally, it's definitely NOT okay.
Depends on what type of service it is.
Their shop, their rules
No discrimination no matter the type
Pokaż mi swoją cipke jaka jest mokra chce sobie strzepać kiedy bende patrzeć na ciebie chce cie lizać piepszyc się całować pierś 07522 469646 napisz do
No, because discrimination is wrong.
No but I my views on religion are unpopular
Yeah, I don't see why that shouldn't be allowed
I mean they lose money xd
lol but it's still their right. When Sarah Huckabee Sanders was denied service at a restaurant, as much as I support the majority of the Trump Administration, I sided with the restaurant owner. He still reserves the right to make the decision. Whether it's the smart decision, as you point out, is a different story.
Yes. Of course you can.
