Religion is a waste of time designed to control the masses. If you wish to continue believing in it, that is your own decision. The bible says that it is a sin to do these things. They also say it is a sin to be homosexual, commit adultery, murder and steal. But the bible also says that jesus's death covers all sin and makes you clean as a newborn babe. So there is no clear cut answer. Christianity like most other religions contradicts itself multiple times over.

Some ancient hebrew man wrote a book that gives rules for your life and made up punnishments for if someone brakes those rules. Therefore you must abide by that book and its rules that were written in a language that isn't fully understood, and are broken by litterally everyone. Just because a book says something doesn't mean its true.

It also allows slavery and tourture up untill the slave can't stand. Even the bible its self recognizes that times change and those rules change.
