I usually pray before I leave my house, in the morning. Just a quick little “good morning Jesus thank you for another day, please Guard me of all danger, take care of my family and friends at work, Amen.”! then I pray before meals: for breakfast and lunch I usually do a quick sign of the cross and for dinner I make a little prayer such as “ thank you lord for the food we are about to receive, bless the hands that made it and help us be a blessing to others, Amen.” And then nightly when I’m laying in bed, sort of like a chit chat with a friend I’ll spill out what’s in my head and in the end I thank God for the day and to fill me with strength, courage, and kindness.
Somewhat. I was raised as a Christian protestant from a young age where I was taught to pray for my meals, before I slept, to pray over people to bless them or when they are ill. I don't practice my faith as much anymore, and I only find myself praying now when I'm overwhelmed, when I visit my mum's grave, or over someone whom is ill.
I still pray.. When I struggle sleeping at night... Because praying is quite relaxing, boring and calms my hyperactivity and helps me sleep..
I plan on praying regularly! When I have a girlfriend or wife , keep her like my goddess, I will bring her food offering, care for her.. Cuddle her.. And nuzzle her.. And satisfy her in every way possible... Make her fat by overfeeding her, her favorite snacks. Kill her weight by sexual workout.. And get her abs by laughing continuously over the infinite humor I pack..
Well... The way I see it... Every time we think, that is prayer. If a God can hear our prayers, then that God must know our thoughts. And if a god can know our thoughts, then there's no need to dedicate time to (the common way of) praying since we're constantly praying (minus the head bowed and eyes closed bit). So it may not be "prayer" by definition, I don't know. But it's the exact same thing in my eyes. Except you save a shit ton more time this way. 😂
Wouldn't you think it's different to hear someone talking to you, from hearing them to talk to themselves? Would you develop a closer relationship with them if they talked to you, or you just overheard them talking to themselves?
I hope that God wouldn't be plagued by such human thinking processes. Since God invented emotions, I'm sure he wouldn't be bound to them. And that's exactly what would happen if he found certain ways of thinking/addressing more viable than others. Because there's a root to everything dealing with humanity. And that's our emotions. Our thoughts and actions act as ways of processing and delivering them. If god caters to certain delivery methods, then that sounds very biased and morally corrupted. Would that be a God you want to follow?
Praying proves to God that we care about our personal relationship with God. God wanting a personal relationship with God's children isn't biased and morally corrupted.
I think you read that wrong because I never said that God wanting a relationship was inherently biased and morally corrupted. 😂 I was just critiquing his methods. Because if he caters to people that actually want a relationship with him, then that would be biased and morally corrupted. And I only say that because people claim that God loves everyone so much. I personally don't believe in any God that humans advocate/create, but I think, if a God truly loved us, we wouldn't have to do anything to prove ourselves worthy of that love. We wouldn't have to just believe.

I go to Mass every Sunday. I go to daily Mass as often as I can.
I pray the Rosary every day (and so should everyone!). If I'm able to, I'll pray it a second or third time. I pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy close to every day.
There are also various other prayers and occasions throughout the day. The Hail Mary is a go-to prayer for me.
Rose is nice. usually I try to do one act (so like five mysteries? ) a day. Depends, painful, light, joyful, glory. My translation might suck here.
