+1 yIt is and that’s why society is becoming decadent and degenerate. Without Christian moral values, the problems that we see in society will keep on worsening. Collectivism > Individualism is needed at this point.

So tired of Liberal Christians thinking that it’s just them and Jesus. 👍

@Jac2424 it just so happens all the countries which are irreligious like the western nations sit on the lap of 1500 years of Christianity
It's as if the last 1500 years did not exist according to the new athiests. All the religious countries, now reside in the middle east and africa. They never had christianity as long as the west did.
Christian culture allowed for western engineering.
Religions are not all equal. So the religiosity has different effects in different nations.

+1 yDepends what 'under attack' means.
Nobody cares what you personally believe or do in your own personal life. People are free to believe whatever nonsense they want. If the non-Christians were trying to shut down Churches or limit the practice of the Christian faith, I would agree that Christianity was 'under attack'.
But those religious ideas are and should be open to criticism. And it seems to me like every time the Christian victim complex comes out it's because they wanted to push their religious ideals on other people, and quite rightly the secular community pushed back.00 Reply
2.3K opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. Sort of. There are people who have proven many Christian beliefs to be false. I don't see this as bad though. Questioning things is good, finding them to be false is even better because then you have a chance to look for the real answer.
What I would see as bad is if it is attacked by other religions with equally false but more pernicious beliefs such as Islam. Then you don't make any progress.00 Reply
+1 yNot just Christianity. All freedom of thought. Everything that is not approved by the radical Left. Even liberals who stray on an issue or two get attacked.

+1 yYes and no Christianity has false things sprinkled all over the place cause that's how the elites wanted it but now that things are getting uncovered which is the phase we're in called the great awakening we see what's really there
11 Reply3.4K opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. Lmao no. You all hold the vast majority. It’s like asking if Islam is under attack in Iran.

Of course it does in the former, but I’ll grant you the latter. But it isn’t under attack and you do have the power, socially and politically. Your religions are dying on their own. It alienates too many people, disrespects too many people, offends the good conscience of too many people and insults the intelligence of too many people.

Christian's have 0 social or political power in the USA
Christian's oppose abortion and we were forced to accept it. Same with homosexual marriage. Those are completely contrary to Christian values but the supreme court, whose members swore on the bible passed laws enabling it.
I dont think you are looking at things critically
I do agree it's a problem from within! - +1 y
1. Bullshit. Almost all of congress is a professed Christian, every single president in history was Christian, most judges are Christian, most state and city lawmakers are Christian.
You go to any state and profess you’re Christian, you may get only a few jokes from atheists. You do the same and proclaim yourself a satanist, you’ll get threats just like I have.
2. That’s because this is a country with secular laws. We have had to put up with YOUR religious based laws for far longer. It’s not an attack on you to give someone else the rights you already have.
3. Yeah it is, and it’s coming from your own fellow believers and your own holy books. Hell mosaic law endorses actual slavery, sane people don’t.

I respectfully disagree. I think you are right about a few things but.
Just because someone claims to be Christian doesn't make them Christian. It's a political move. They haven't represented Christian values or people.
People have always had the same rights regarding religious freedom in this country.
The only religions which were not free to practice were ones which were heinous.
Mosaic law, is Jewish not Christian. It's not a coincidence that it was throughout Christian colonies slavery was abolished. It was Christian moral teaching which ended it.
In much of the world slavery is still happening in mass, in specifically non-Christian countries. - +1 y
1. It actually does, and even if it didn’t, the effect is still the same. A Christian is in power and is held to account by that Christian base that elected them.
2. Religious rights, yes. But not just them. 50 years ago a woman couldn’t even decide on motherhood for herself, she had no right to her own reproductive choices. Whilst you may disagree with abortion, imagine this: picture a world where you had no choice. It was stolen from you, your male friends and their friends etc. it’s horrible.
3. Still the same god you worship, laws that were given to Moses to make a proper society.
Lmao hon! Christians practiced slavery up until the late 1900s xD Christian teachings ended nothing, and were even bolstered by its teachings. What stopped it, was secular humanist laws.

1. The christian base doesn't hold them accountable. That's the biggest problem.
2. In 1970 a woman couldn't decide if she wanted to be a mother? I find that hard to believe. She could have just abstained until she was ready for a child.
3. All western thought sits on the lap of 1000 years of Catholic Social Teachings.
I thought that vast majority was Christian and wielded power. Like the power to end slavery right?
So now it's not christianity
Anyways it was nice debating with you. We could both probably go on forever haha 😊❤
I will give you the last word 😃

1. They usually vote them out. But I do otherwise agree, as I said, half the problem is your own members.
2. Unless her husband knocked her up by accident or on purpose, if she was a victim of rape, if the birth control failed etc. if you got pregnant, you had no choice over your own body.
3. The power to end slavery started emerging with the enlightenment movement, which had members such as Immanuel Kant and Spinoza. Free thinkers of humanism got that ball rolling, not Christians.

+1 yBe careful, any question pro white, pro Christian, pro Trump, or anti Biden, anti socialism , or anti Marxism or anti illegal immigration gets taken down. You know I wouldn't be surprised if GAG sponsored the riots we have been having.

Talk about bullying , The liberals always crying about bullies , and yet what do you call getting questions taken down here. That is a typical Liberal , complain about what they do.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yOf course it is, it has been for well over a century. The West cannot survive without it, and the decline of the church is synonymous with the decline of the west.

+1 ychristianity has been exposed as malicious evil in Europe in 1800. somehow that message didn't reach america yet.
00 Reply I think "under attack" is a wrong way to put it.
16 Reply- +1 y
I don't know, but I think "attack" implies that there's deliberate intent on taking down the church, and it seems to me that most all non-christians are fine with christians doing their thing as long as they keep it to themselves and in particular don't try to enforce their beliefs through laws.
+1 yWhy? Because some people who were oppressed by the church now have the same rights as you and I.
