Please dont be rude. Just give a simple yes or no. But man how can anyone not listen to Yolanda Adams? She’s definitely one or my top 3 gospel singers. Her music gives me the chills. It makes my skin crawl in the best way. Her voice is amazing.

No, I also don't listen to opera, country, classical orchestra, banjo music, death metal, dub step, rap, hip hop, r&b, jazz, blues, the kind of 60s, old timey music in the fallout games, whatever you would call the genre that the titanic theme is, girly or kids music like the stuff on sing a longs, disney, hanson, or barney, and a bunch of other stuff.

Typically speaking when its mostly about vocals or telling a story or message, rather than complimenting instruments for audible aesthetic reasons, I tend to lack an interest in it, and in many cases find it irritating to listen to in the nails on a blackboard sense, also if it's too chaotic, lacks rhythm, has shrill or hoarse screaming, has vocals that overpower the instruments, or has too much bass to the point of distortion, I don't like it.

I'm pretty picky with music, I like the sound of an electric guitar rift, violin, cello, and full on orchestral, I like drums for dramatic buildup, I also like that flute noise in japanese ninja-esk type stuff. I like techno, upbeat adventuring type music, and the type of epic themes in action movie/sci fi movie/fantasy trailers or videogame boss battles or cinematic scenes, I also like 8-bit-16 bit retro style music (I remember an instrument for this, its chinese and has a bunch of small pipes in a bundle, but I forget it's name.

I really like buildups that lead to cresendo events in instruments, and I'm not huge on songs having vocals, but some exceptions exist, like the themes to skyrim, halo, or the stuff that two steps from hell or immediate music might have, I think an exception might be stuff like what miracle of sound or the aviators might have, where it almost has the vocals trying to be the base rather than the quior? it's hard to explain.

I do not have the habit but I absolutely love gospel music. I've watched this show on Netflix called Voices of Fire and I looooved it I cried in almost every episode. Such beautiful voices and melodies and it really makes you connect with God. In my opinion Gospel music is very underrated I know it's very popular in the USA but is not so popular around the rest of the world.

There's some I like but I'm very careful on who I choose to listen to as a lot of these artists don't actually follow the word of god. I listen to all kinds of music, but if it's going to be gospel, then it at least needs to align with what the bible actually says.

I don't know if it's gospel but my grandparents strictly listen to christian music. For those who don't listen to christian music, imagine some words along the lines of, god is the king/lord, Jesus is the savior/son, something about the holy spirit. Got your chorus? Cool, now repeat it over and over for the whole song which is 5 minutes. I'm not saying it's bad music, rather catchy and gets stuck in my head. I'm sure that lots of people love it but PERSONALLY, it makes me want to blow my brains out, not trying to be rude, just a personal opinion.

I’m more of a country gospel music listener than anything. Like one of my favorite songs is Holy Water by We The Kingdom. This song has a lot of meaning behind it and it really reminds me of how bless I am to always have someone by my side that cares for me. Even tho we all may sin God will still pick us back up and give us a new start.

I used to. I'm that person who will listen to instrumental music for weeks, then pop for the next few weeks and so on and so forth :) thanks for these I'll definitely go through them all. They're usually pretty lively

Yes... The Clark Sisters are my all time favorite female group. Love me some Fred Hammond and Commission.. all time favorite male group. Rance Allen... I love all variations of Christian music. Jazz, country, rap, choirs, etc. Listening to Lacrae, Wande, Koryn Hawthorne, SEU Worship, Toby Mac, Elevation Worship, We Are Messengers, Matthew West... Just to name of few. I love my old school gospel from the 60s to 90s.
