This is what most of us Eastern Religion people believe in. Doing our duty irrespective of how we feel about it.
If every person does their, takes responsibility for their daily tasks, the world truly will become an awesome place!
Dang near spot on, but duty isn't really the right word. besides majority commonly percieve and understand the term duty idicative being a burden and what do people do with burdens? They get rid of, abuse, neglect, or destroy it.
To serve is to love/care for those being served; and love/care is to help, teach, assist, encourage, emotionally invest, invest time, heal if needed, and build up the one being served so they achieve a quality & fulfilling role in their life.
The meek shall inherit the earth right?

As an Indian, I feel like I have some insight that might help you. India and China are countries where opportunities are not as much as needed, so we prioritize stability over passion or love. Doesn't mean that we need to kill our passion, but that financial security will come first. Now the people who are able to execute it better than others get more successful and some of the best among them land in america (so a bit of survivor-ship bias involved as well). They pass on these qualities to their children and the lineage hopefully continues.
I have personally witnessed my Indian customers slave away, working 16+ hours a day... until they had enough money. Money equals options. Once their basic needs are covered they can devote their time to other streams of revenue.
Where we Americans say save 10 percent and live off of 90. The Indians appear to save 90 percent and live off of the 10.

Indians do prioritize saving money over fun & pleasure but this habit leads to a lot of people being responsibile & dutiful & forgetting that they have a live to live.
A lot of Indians are financially stable but they are very bored, very boring & live uneventful simple lives.
Moderation is the key. Earn money & have fun, 50-50!
That'll lead to a happy & fulfilling life.
A communal or collective society leverages the community assets for the benefit of all. From sharing comes abundance. In contrast, individualism gives rise to hoarding, where assets do not benefit anyone - they are just waiting "in case" a need arises. From selfishness comes scarcity. Better futures are the result of helping all people thrive. Personally, communaly, and spiritually, people are able to enjoy life instead of worrying that the next misfortune will be disastrous. Industry and humility are just byproducts of the belief system.
Slow and steady is sure success. I am not rich but this is why I have more than people I grew up with and the rest of my siblings. Fast success builds ego, learn to watch others pass you by and not care about the crowd. The race is not for the swift but those who can endure. If I reach wealth in my seventies, it would not matter because I don't build for social media, I do it for my lineage.
Depends on what you mean by "better." But assuming you mean more financially successful, then no. Not by itself at least.
I think that "competent" people generally have better futures. And you don't have to be humble to be competent.
Eh?
You mean Jews and Muslims - not Chinese and Hindu's.
Hindu's work for bottom dollar and even less, Whereas Chinese tend to be low aspiration and not very career diverse.
You also don't seem to understand that your question doesn't imply humble people - let alone why they would have "better" futures.
I think they have better behavior and they naturally are more appealing based on their behavior but also likely have a more casual and comfortable appearance
Indeed. Life humbled me in many ways and I learned that saying less is best. Allow wisdom to guide you.
Just a thought 👍✌️
I personally think about the location humble people are at. In places like Europe of the middle east are more likely to have better lives due to their society that their live on, religion, norms and expectation. In place like the USA people have a a better chance of getting taking advantage. Although that just my opinion.
Not necessarily but they have the right attitude in life.
my bible is full of blessings for those who put others before themselves
Well I don’t think Karate Kid’s old girlfriend was wrong so... I guess so.
*unzips*
Po: Woahhh...
Shifu: Hm hm hm... let’s begin
*questionable noises*
Shifu: I've BEEN TAKING IT EASY ON YOU PANDA, BUT NO MORE
No, it's always the assertive people that get the promotions and have better relationships. Sad but true I think
Nope. A better life is for those with either privilege or the Will necessary to make it happen.
"Don't be so humble. You're not that great."
"Your humility serves no one."
Mostly yes and depends on the environment they are living in.
Mindset, it all has to do with ones mindset.
Usually they don't in the real world.
