How do I tell my son that being black and proud is a sin?

He will quickly understand that "black pride" is stupid and makes no sense.

Since when? He should be proud of his heritage. Yes, it's different than mine but my Scottish and English ancestors had their trials and tribulations. Certainly nothing like what his ancestors had to deal with. He should be proud his ancestors survive their own personal holocaust. He's alive because they did.

You tell him the truth. Being black is not sinful. Liking the colour of your skin is not sinful. The sin lies in abusing others whose skin colour differs from yours.
