I'm not sure if it is racist, but it is an unusual way to bring up your ethnicity. A black friend of mine from college actually had a college professor make a comment similar to that during class. It was a weird thing for a teacher to do.0

The definition of racism is...
Racism: The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
A teacher verbally acknowledging that you are a good student, in no way matches the definition of racism. He was apparently wrong about you though, because you never learned to think for yourself and or to do basic research like reading a simple definition. Hence, you're not one of the good one... You fail to think critically. You're just another lame ass brainwashed follower that buys into propaganda and plays the victim because it's the next thing... You're a typical sheep. You didn't learn to think and that is what education is all about.
