Do you think my church contact ghosted me because of lies?

I used to have a church connection that always talked to me and now he is short and curt and does not always reply to my messages. I know a very influential person in the fellowship pressured everybody in the church to cut me off after I rejected him romantically and he spoke nasty lies about me to them in front of my face so I’m sure he does it behind my back. As an example, around 2-3 years after our last conversation, a guy told me he said that week he was angry at God for healing my cancer because God did not heal his depression.

Probably, same happened to me with my ex. Fact is you shouldn't waste your time on people who are going let others determine who you are. Even if you did, it's likely that will just happen again. Keep it 💯

Maybe. I'd be the type to (if 1 on 1) with people talk about him doing that shit, of course it's adding fuel to the fire but I'm a fighter. If it was to my face though I'd verbally fight them right there. Also, that guy needs to chill the fuck out. How does he know God healed your cancer? Why does he demand God heal his depression? He sounds emotionally distraught, but if he wants to fight you then you got to choose whether to fight directly or not. Going directly to the Pastor about this could be a good thing depending on your Pastor. Also, directly confronting the church connection would be wise after seeing how informing the Pastor goes. If the Pastor isn't shit tier he's not going to want a bunch of drama in his church and if you told him that a guy was talking shit about you, lying, and that he said that he's pissed that God healed your cancer then the Pastor likely wouldn't be happy with him at the very least.

Please, don't waste your time on people like that. It's such a shame that this happens in Church community that should be above this kind of things. Those people are no worthy of your time, care and emotions. If they can't support you, they are not your friends and you don't need them. Live happy and healthy life, not dealing with other people's dramas.

So, here is how i see it.
If anyone cuts you off or treats you differently due to what someone else says about you.
They are judgmental not your friend in the first place and doesn't matter why they did.
They are not worth your time or energy to think about them.

The older translations sometimes use the word “false Christ’s” and not “false messiahs” and I interpret the “false Christ’s” to be false Christ followers or false Christians. Not Christianity in the classical sense but Christianity in the Christ sense, meaning they are still filled with worldly idols and worldly values and carnal judgments and carnal greeds while pretending to be spiritual.
