Judaism is so splintered, each sect warrants its own discussion. But by far, Kabbalah is the worst.
The divide between Jews and Muslims goes as far back as Isaac and Ishmael, and God warned Abraham that messing around with Hagar would have disastrous consequences that would endure for countless generations. That Sarah suggesting Hagar as wife #2 for Abraham was an incredibly shortsighted plan. But the single biggest difference , is to look at how they view Moses and Jesus. Characterization of those two betrays a lot of theological differences. Ignoring them is like ignoring the difference between sodium chloride and potassium chloride. One will melt your driveway faster , but you'd be a fool to put it in your mouth.
The reason that Abraham branches stand out, is because they, with a few exceptions , preach partial detachment from worldly concerns, to pursue the will of a being that exists outside of nature and is superior to Creation. All other faiths, including atheism and LeVayan satanism, betray themselves in the end to pantheism. Which worships the created rather than a supercedent Creator, mixing science with superstition until they cannot tell the difference. But this makes that liberating partial worldly detachment impossible, which means pantheism often betrays itself to statism. And if a perverse state sanctions a thing be done , or redefines something to create arbitrary loopholes , those other faiths all too easily bend their own rules. As the religious succumbs to political pressure, the whole of it is easily corrupted. Which is why, originally, American Christians and Freemasons agreed that federal power needed to be restricted: to not restrict it was an invitation to doctrinal compromise and to total cultural degeneracy. Over time, more and more from every faith background got sloppy, and let centralized authoritarianism take a foothold. So here we are: a world with hundreds of religions, buried beneath the noise of degeneracy, which is everywhere. Babel required languages to be confused. Babel 2.0 has planned ahead. Only God knows what it will take this time. Good thing his imagination is limitless. Because I only have a few solutions from my own, and all of them involve supervillain insanity.

God gave the same task to all prophets. all gods were the same. they all had the same beliefs and orders. Over time, people changed these beliefs. Christianity and Judaism emerged.
Im not sure religion wise... I do know one day we will all know the truth what happens when we die. I rather serve God and find out there's no god then not serve him and miss out. I dont label myself as anything cause every religion does things I personally dont approve of. I stopped attending church cause of all the greed for money. I feel God mostly out in nature.. I dont believe we should treat people horrible for life decisions lets gay marriage... I believe God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve and not Annie abd Eve.. at the same time I am not going to treat them like crap just cause I only want to marry a man... I am happy they found happiness in life.. they dont need hate they need love.. we all get enough hate from every direction.. or how a coworker shared with me she wants to be a man.. its her/his life there's good aspects of both genders I believe if were born it thats what we are.. but just cause I wouldn't doesn't mean I degrade someone who wants to.. I can give my personal thoughts as long as they want to hear; sometimes they just want to vent and want a hug cause the world is such a cruel place!! To out right hate someone cause they dont live or believe the same isn't me and thats what all religion has you do anyone whose not like your kind you think less of them.. which shouldn't be we are all brought up in different environments told the one religion we are brought up in is the real one but its all people telling me.. I believe there's a higher power out there if its Jesus thats great if its Allah thats great.. I just want to live my life in a way that I will hopefully be accepted into the kingdom.. cause if God knows the desires of my heart and I know everyone is made in God image why is there soo much hate? Muslim and Christianity is alike Jesus is a prophet in Muslim much of the story lines up.. as for worshipping the sun, other earthly or man made things I chose to think thats not the truth what is I am not sure.. I follow my intuition more than what any book tells me to do. Buddhism I find has very good parables..
It all boils down to I think religion was created to control us.
I can't speak for other religions.
But in Islam we consider ourselves to be following the Abrahamic tradition. Meaning we believe in all prophets and that they were all contacted by God/Allah either directly in the case of Moses or through the Angel Gabriel (which I believe is what christian refer to Holy spirit). We consider both Christians and Jews to be people of the book, which is a special status.
Christians (except for Arians but they got converted to Catholicism by force in early medieval Europe) believe that Jesus is God. In which case, no, Muslims don't believe in the same God because for us, Jesus is a man and a prophet, not a God. God, Jesus and the "Holy Spirit" are entirely 3 different entities. Muslims think it's a grave sin to associate God with others and pure Monotheism is the base of Islamic faith.
Jews think that Muslims worship the same God as them. So both Jews and Muslims somewhat mutually agree that we worship the same god. According to one of the most famous scholars of Judaism in history, Maimonides, Jews are allowed to pray in a Mosque but they're not allowed to pray in a Church because they consider it paganism to worship Jesus and Mary.
So the answer is more complex than a simple Yes or No. I just gave a quick overview.

Kind of like pouring oil on a lit match and saying "don't ignite" to it.
But here goes anyway...
Ancient Judaism is the root of Christianity. In fact without Judaism there can be NO Christian doctrine since Christ was the complete fulfilment of the Messianic Prophecies in Judaism, so if you consider that, then yes, Christian and Jewish Faiths come from the same root, so are the same God.
That's where things get complicated.
Along comes Mohammed centuries after Christ, claiming an angel revealed something to him. I'm NOT a scholar of Islam, so I can't speak about much, but I CAN say it's possible that the Islamic people were children of Abraham originally. Abraham had two sons: Ishmael and Isaac. Ishmael was born to Hagar, his wife's slave. Isaac was born to his wife. As such, Isaac was the promised child, despite the fact that Ishmael was older. The Old Testament book of Genesis is explicit. Ishmael and Hagar were sent away.
"He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man, And every man’s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.”
Genesis 16:12 NKJV
That's God's promise to Hagar. Consider what's going on in Gaza. Look familiar?
But the Islamic reverence of Jesus makes no sense. Jesus was explicit: He is the only route to a restored relationship with God. Not the Alpha and the Psi (last but one) but Alpha and Omega - First and Last.
So if Jesus was telling the truth, as both Islam and Christian teachings say, there cannot be another of that style of Prophet after Him - eliminating Mohammed's claim (and Joseph Smith's) to be prophets in the same line.
The book of Genesis that chronicles Abraham and his line is the first Mosaic book in the Pentateuch/Torah. Quite why another religion would accept the first few chapters of this but then reject everything afterwards seems a little odd.
In modern terms it's kind of like saying Neo, John Wick and Theodore "Ted" Logan are the same character.
re-state://background_color_rgba (0, 0, 0, 0), font_color_rgb (0, 0, 0), justifyLeftIf people actually took the time to read the Quran they would realize the ignorance that has been engrained in their hearts. Yes, Islam does say be cautious of the Jews and Christians, this was something said over 1400 years ago. Well, look at this world today, there are Christian Zionists and Jewish Zionists will bash Islam or call the 12th imam (Imam Mahdi) the anti-christ., which is false. Yes, Christianity and Judaism came before Islam but God perfected religion with Islam because it came last. As the saying goes, saving the best for last and that is no knock on Christianity or Judaism because Islam does state to be kind to others, help your family, help your neighbours regardless of religion. As prophet Muhammad raised Imam Ali (his successor) hand and stated he will one day pass away and he has perfected Islam as a religion through God's will these are things not talked about. Christianity, Judaism and Islam have similarities such as praying, fasting, believing in one God and the return of a messiah. People reject Islam because they did not bother reading what the Quran actually says. The Quran comes in any language pretty much so on the day of judgment people can't say "well the Quran was only in Arabic". Islam talks about the reappearance of Jesus Christ coming with Imam Mahdi when the time in this world nears. So why do Christians bash Islam when we believe in the same prophets. When Jesus returns he will tell non-Muslims he was never a God. How could Jesus be a God when there is only ONE God to pray to? Technically speaking Jesus was born in the stomach of Mary (Maryam) who has an entire chapter dedicated to her in the Quran. Jesus is mentioned more times in the Quran than Prophet Muhammad and yet people still demonize Islam. Wouldn't that make Jesus' mother a God if her son Jesus was born inside her stomach? No, because God provided that gift. Another thing is, even Jesus' mother or a prophet's wife, they dressed modestly with a head covering so for people today to bash Muslim girls wearing a hijab, what about nuns then? See how much people disregard the truth. I know Christian people who have said yes the Bible was modified it was not word for word from God, but the Quran is word for word by God. When Imam Mahdi returns and the big battle is about to happen. Non-Muslims will want to kill Muslims in Jerusalem/Palestine, God will send Jesus down where non-Muslims will think Jesus is on their side ready to kill Muslims but Jesus will say no and inform the truth and this will shock people. Since people enjoy insulting the Middle East, where do most of the prophets come from/born in? The Middle East, Muslim/Arab lands. Jesus was Muslim, his real name is Isa, Moses is a Muslim, his real name is Musa, Abraham is a Muslim, his real name is Ibrahim, the list goes on and on. This is not to trigger or make people mad but God left Islam last and perfected the religion, God knew religion takes steps and it takes time and bits for people to learn. But today, political powers use religion as a tool to benefit the wealthy and elites of the system. People should read why the CIA and FBI have tried to look where Imam Mahdi is, heck the western media outlets even produced a show on Netflix called Messiah, which was cancelled after one season depicting what I just described and even the actors name is Mehdi. But what Netflix did was make a mockery of Islam and the 12th imam. Imam Mahdi is alive in this world today and he will return when God appoints that time for the injustice not only Muslims faced but for those suffering and oppressed around the world and Jesus will come back as well and state the truth and be on the Imam's side and that time is nearing for world peace. People can read this and give my comment a thumbs down but until people witness that moment of the 12th imam and Jesus or people realize what Islam represents then it doesn't surprise me that narrow minded/bias people will say negative things about Islam.
While Christianity, Judaism and Islam have different cultures and rituals, their worship comes from the same origin. Judaism has a very old origin as it studies about people that came way before Jesus, like Abraham, Moses, Noah and all and also about Jesus, because technically Jesus was a Jew, they had a strong belief on the one true God as he helped many Prophets and Men of God in their Journey.
Christianity came after the appearance of Jesus, the new testament became a whole new chapter in the people's lives. This religion is more centred around Jesus Christ because he was the one to rekindle faith and better judgment in religion among people, his parables and teachings and actions were done to teach about the One true God and to forgive those who lost their faith.
Islam, while an old religion, is much younger than the other two religions mentioned. The founder of Islam, Prophet Muhammed is supposedly the last in the line of the Prophets, from Elijah to Moses till him, Muhammed being the last of all inherited most of the cultures fn understanding of both Judaism and Christianity. In that way, Islam is a blend of the understanding of both cultures but in their own way.
So in conclusion, while all religions have a little different beliefs and have different cultures, they all come from the same origin and history and they have been the same complex God.
Forgive me if I am wrong somewhere, I am only giving the knowledge I have.Different God or a shit CEO.
how can the same man at the very top, have completely different rule and regulations for his employees.
imagine you work for a company and only HR are allowed to wear what the fuck they want.
The Engineers are not allowed to wear T shirts, but everyone else can.
those working in logistics must either wear shorts or a mini skirt.
if you do not follow these rules you get fired and lose your pension.
Sin all three have it as a core to their beliefs,
Alcohol.
Pork
fish / crustaceans
when you get in that lift, you find out that Islam was right and those whiskys snd pork pie cost you a place in heaven.
Muslim gets there and finds all these Christians pissed of their tits and not a single virgin among them, imagine wasting all your life without a beer or 30 years until you marry and finding out it was just a load of bollox as the other lot fornicated and drank their way to heaven.
All 3 cannot be right.
Who is wrong?
if someone comes up with its mans interpretation, it’s been proven throughout history humans are really shit and incredibly fallible. There are compatibilities.
All three are family/man<->woman in good relations, whollyness (with children) based/believing/bound.
Unlike Indians, we don't believe in greed and shameless self promotion. Unlike the Chinese, we don't devalue the intimacy, sanctity of sex.
They do attempt to corrupt those beliefs - with communist commoditisation of sex which leads to nihilism, with prostitution, with creation of strife none of Abrahamic religions allow.
The redeeming bits in Abrahamic religions come from those enlightened, those with bright eyes - regardless of whether we are Jewish, Christian or Muslim, we tend to be on the cooperative and kind side given half a chance for it, and are better engineers, scientists, artists, educators etc - as well as more civil/not prone to blowing the gasket (which the IndoChinese narcissistic beliefs often end up doing - they are not big on being humble and tolerant)
Islam has its infidels (typical Chinese corruption method), Christianity and Judaism the greedy (the typical Indian corruption method). No, Judaism and Islam have rejected God. Both deny Jesus as Lord and Savior. Islam was formed as a failed attempt to unify Judaism and Christianity, when that did not work it was changed to kill the infidels. Islam does Not accept Jesus as fully God or (the most crucial message of the Bible) as Messiah. Without salvation through Jesus Christ all are headed for Hell. Islam and Judaism reject Jesus Christ and Salvation.
John 14:9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
Galatians 1: 6 - 10
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. From an Islamic perspective yes.
We believe that the Jewish scriptures were the first revelation, the Christian scriptures were the second revelation both by God- but these texts were not preserved, so the final revelation by God was the Quran.
And by the way, I find it so funny how people will get so triggered by the word “Allah” when it literally just means “God” in another language, that language being Arabic😂😂I don’t think people realize that the Bible and Torah in Arabic would also refer to
God as Allah😂😂Is it a God? Who knows. I personally don't like to simply define something that is much more than anyone probably realizes. It's an unknown. People hold beliefs towards their own perspective of who and what God is. For me, I have what I genuinely feel and I'm completely ok with not knowing or trying to define it. What I was taught was from others perspectives and it didn't feel right for myself.
Even in each religion there is divide upon beliefs because beliefs would be considered laws and universal if God was known, if that makes sense. We just have what we are taught and what we feel. There is just no wrong or right answer. It doesn't matter what other's believe if you have your own personal beliefs.Muslims say they believe in the same God as Jews and Christians. The teachings are actually vastly different. Muslims follow Mohammed and consider him as the best person to have walked the earth and are vehement on accepting that he is above one’s parents and say they love him more than their parents whereas Christians accept Jesus as their Lord and saviour. I personally believe Jesus is much more convincing because his character was faultless and he was totally pure - plus he was a virgin. Jews reject Jesus completely and consider Abraham as their matriarch. Monotheistic religions are the most popular because they caused a lot of force conversions, war and bloodshed to try to convert people - I am talking about Christianity and Islam here. However popularity doesn’t prove them to be true. They’re all pretty illogical if people are able to critically evaluate them and think outside of their indoctrination.
Born and raised in Iraq as a Christian until i was 20, moved to Sweden. The islam will tell you what you want to hear but behind you they "KNOW" that only their god is the real one and the rest is all fake and made up. The jews i met were from israel and Poland and i got mixed responses from both countries. For me! Leave me alone, why would it matter to anyone which god i choose, don't slaughter me just becasue i disagree with you, just leave me alone with my belife just like me leaving you all alone with your own belife.
Sort of and no. Arguablly they are the same god but different interpretations. However their is an interesting theory that the god of Judaism is NOT the god of christians and muslims. In fact their was a scholar who argued this very point and the budding church burned him at the stake (then promptly wrote the new testament to solidify the connection between judaism and christianity). In fact one theory suggests Yahweh (the god of Israel) was in fact a dragon.
https://youtu.be/XogaHpV5oUsYes, they all base their god in the ancient Jewish religion so they would all have the same god.
However their religion (Christianity and Islam) is supremacist in nature based on their roots and is not faith but forced, Jews (The Root) believe theirs to be the supreme religion as well as the master race. There are many shared stories in the scriptures of all three religions. And scholars would agree that all three agree Abraham was a prophet of God so yes, all three technically believe in the same God. However from a Christian POV, Jesus is part of God but the other two religions don't share that belief. But islam says Jesus was a prophet. That said, if you read the Qur'an it's basically 100% against a lot of Christian biblical teachings in my opinion.
yeah, it's the same shit that abraham (in jewish folklore) or ibrahim (in muslim folklore) came up with.
in the historical context you have to know that it was quite normal for nations, regions, even small tribes had their own gods. and let's say you have a conflict with your neighboring tribe, you'd threatten them with shit that your god would do to them adn that would (if convincing) enough spare you the violence you'd normally have to apply to have your interest heard.
it's hard to believe for me that people back then were stupid enough to believe in dieties that someone came up with and that nobody ever had any proof for... but well... a good chunk of people is still that stupid today.Judaism is the "original" version of the three religions if you would.
Christianity was by a Jew (Jesus) who struck out on his own & founded his own religion.
Islam has many aspects of Haredi Judaism, such as the burka which is akin to very extreme Judaism dress, and was warped by the corruption of a warlord (Muhammad ) who instilled his own ideologies hence why there are multiple books (the Qu'ran the proper book & the Hadith & Sunnah or Muhammad's books to incorporate his teachings).I feel like each religion's basic idea of "God" is pretty much the same, but it's how that idea has been passed down and interpreted, translated, retold throughout history which has led to the differences between religions today. So in a way yes - I think they all have a different interpretation of the same God
It's questionable. You could say they do but then you have to take into account that they disagree with each other's prophecies. So the question of at what point has the original god been changed into something unrecognisable? Has to be asked.
If Jews don't agree on what Christians and Muslims believe the same god is saying, is it still the same god?
If I have a toy and call it Lucilla and then someone steals it, changes its name and replaces its parts with different ones, is it still the same toy?It doesn't matter, they are competing religious systems. Christianity was born from Judaism, and Islam based itself off of Christianity. They threw in a new prophet, eliminated the trinity, made standardized responses to everything from prayer and fasting, to daily behavior. Judaism is too archaic, Islam is too micro-managing and militant, and modern Christianity is weak and wimpy. The trinity was always a wack concept to me, One God, but in 3 parts? Religion is simply a part of statecraft, especially so in earlier time periods. Man-made systems providing answers to the "divine mystery" which man has wondered about since we've been on this planet.
I am not religious. As far as I understand it... yes... all three do share the same God. These three religions comprise what's called "Abrahamic" religions. I believe that it is the same God... just different interpretations of how God wants you to live.
No Christian and Jews yes. But Islam has a different view on God because in Christianity and also in some Jewish tradition God is a personal God that has anthromorph relationships with his people. In Christianity and Judaism God is different because of the Trinity.
The biggest difference between Christianity, Judaism and Islam is that Christians believe that Jesus is God whereas Judaism and Islam say he isn´t.
