Jewish people will believe that it's Friday evening into Saturday evening, since that's the seventh day of the week. Christians believe that it's Sunday, and believe that to be the seventh day of the week.
In general, though, sabbath is also a word unconnected to either religion that means "a time of rest". So when I worked in a church I worked 6 days a week except for my sabbath day, which I took on Friday, so neither of those options.
I’m not Christian but I think it’s Saturday. It was changed to Sunday by Emperor Constantine to placate the cult of Sol Invictus (the Unconquered Sun).
@B4852 the counter argument told to me by a Catholic priest when I raised this to him was that it was changed because Jesus wanted to distance the new Church from the old Jewish law which he rejected
The Black day…
( too tempting)
Also, having done my Celtic Christianity on early church. Christians never really followed the Sabbath as such. Link has info..

Apostle Paul talked about a man who put one day above others and a man that sees all days the same. He said it makes no difference.
Jesus said the son of man is Lord of the sabaath that man was not made for the Sabaath but the Sabaath for man. The day, hence, should not matter.
It's Sunday, as per the Gregorian calendar. The idea is that it was initially established as Saturday (well, as the seventh day on the proto-Hebrew calendar; I doubt Yahweh's the kind of god who names days of the week after OTHER gods), but Jesus' resurrection changed things. The Seventh Day Adventists disagree, and hold their Sabbath on Saturday, but every other Christian denomination I'm aware of uses Sunday.
The United States of America is not Mount Athos; it uses the Gregorian calendar, on which Sunday is the seventh day of the week. They're not usually PRINTED that way, but that's because printers find having two successive "S" days aesthetically unappealing. If you're dubious, reflect that every calendar you'll ever see has the ninth month called "September", despite the fact that its name LITERALLY MEANS "month seven". This was an inaccuracy left over from Caesar's Julian calendar, which moved New Year's to January. Thus, the names of September, October, November, and December were inaccurate when Jesus was walking around, and in the 2000 years since then, NOBODY has bothered to fix it.
The Gregorian calendar, for the record, is the one commissioned by Pope Gregory XIII to fix the inaccuracies in the Julian calendar, which is off by fifteen minutes a year.
Well, they always say Sunday is part of the Weekend but Monday
is looked to be of a new week, My opinion is Sunday should be kept
Sabbath
It was this until the New Testament. I grew up Evangelical Lutheran in America.
It was the Resurection day.
Sunday as a Christian but others have different days Jews it's a Saturday I think Islam is A Friday
Saturday technically, but we Christians observe it on Sunday.
The Lord said that we are to rest "on the seventh day," which is Saturday on the Gregorian calendar. I also forgot to mention that as a Christian, one may observe Sabbath on another day. It's really just a period of rest.
It's the 7th day which is Saturday according to the Bible.
@Flower7: Ignorance. The Sabbath was created for man as a rest day from labor. It was a mandatory rest day under the old testament for the Hebrews.
Christians can either take the rest day or not from labor which is a smart thing to do since working 7 days a week will harm your health.
Our rest is in Christ as it teaches in Hebrews 4 I think.
I'm not a Jew, but in my native language (polish) Saturday is called "Sobota", which originates from Sabat/Szabat ("Sabbath"). So I believe it's on Saturday.
Saturday because sounds like sábado in Spanish which comes from Latin? I don't know I'm just guessing
Sabbath is the day considered as a day of worship and rest in Judaism. It falls on a Saturday in the Gregorian calendar.
Friday is five pyatneza so Saturday subota 6 and Sunday 7.
