Mary the mother of Jesus is on a higher level than other saints, above all other saints in the Christian Religion.
The USA has been granted special permission to have Mary the Mother of Jesus to be the Patron Saint of the United States of America.
USA has a large and predominant Christian population which is heavily influenced by a Christian heritage.
I'm amazed only 1 person celebrates the 8th December the day given in the recognition of the Mother of Jesus, and The Patron Saint Day of USA.

Can't you people get your own Patron Saint without hijacking the big one and wrapping her in a flag? I mean she had nothing to do with America and it does sully her name somewhat, surprised you haven't got her selling hotdogs or wearing a maga cap and carrying a gun.

I don't think these days it matters too much if you're Catholic or not, patron Saint days are more about national unity and America already has that covered with independence day.

Since I'm pagan, no. The 8th is when many traditionalist pagans set up the tree but I love the Holidays so set it up way earlier. 🎄
