Absolutely!!
For Good Friday we fast - we are Catholic - and for the kids we have them make Easter eggs and otherwise try to keep things low key and quiet. My girlfriend and I, since we generally cannot find a babysitter, trade off and may attend the Good Friday liturgy. (The kids are a bit young.)
As to Easter Sunday, it is my favorite holiday and in my family was like a second Christmas only in better weather. To be sure, in both my family and my gfd's growing up it was a huge holiday.
We decorated the house for our three children. We have a pastel colored lights around the windows and along the roof line. Plus a giant inflatable Easter Bunny pushing a cart with eggs in it. The Bunny is lit from the inside. We have a wreath on the front door with an Easter theme - flowers and colored eggs and a couple of Bunny figures, and suchlike. Plus we have all sorts of Easter decorations on the inside, including a whole figurine Easter village on the fireplace mantle. As noted, we are coloring Easter eggs and making baskets for Bumpa and Munga - grandma and grandpa (my gfd's parents) - who we will visit on Easter Sunday. (My parents live in Michigan and we see them every other year, but not this year.)
On Saturday night - we are Catholic - my girlfriend and I go to the Easter vigil mass. We take the kids but our church provides a play center and rest area as that would be a little long for them at their ages.
Then on Easter morning, the kids will get up and look for the baskets that the Easter Bunny brought, plus he also brings wrapped gifts and hid them all over the first floor of the house - in closest, behind chairs, etc. So the kids have to hunt for those and then unwrap the presents. The only hard part is that the kids are not allowed to eat any Easter candy that morning. (Though occasionally, strict disciplinarian that I am, daddy will pass the kids a few candies "under the table." girlfriend rolls eyes.)
We then go to Annapolis - we live in the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC - in the afternoon for the first ice creams of the spring. (There is an ice cream store right in the middle of town where we go every year.) Then we walk the city and sometimes - not always - we will take a tour of the Chesapeake.
We also added our own tradition of driving across the Chesapeake Bay bridge - and then back across - "breaking the seal on beach season" we call it. Then we go into Annapolis to walk around and maybe take a bay cruise.
Then we go to her parent's for a huge dinner party. On average about 30 or so friends and relatives. My gfd's parents live out in the Blue Ridge so it is quite a ride, but worth it - and the kids are happy because they get to see their cousins and, whadda ya know, the Easter Bunny dropped something at Bumpa and Munga's house too!
The party goes late into the evening. (This year might be smaller and shorter due to the pandemic.) However, we send our kids to Catholic school and so their Easter break runs from Good Friday through the week after Easter. So they can sleep in Monday morning - my girlfriend and I also take Monday off if we don't get it - and have a whole week to play in what is usually pretty good weather.
As I say, it is all the fun of Christmas but without the blaring in your face television commercials, the lousy cold weather, and the garish colors. (I much prefer Easter pastels to Christmas primary colors.)
So as far as I am concerned we can dispense with all the other holidays. As to my kids, (ages, 9,8, and 6) I have to admit that seeing their excitement at any of the holidays always warms my heart - but I still have to admit that when I think back, even to my own surprise, it is the Easters that I get the most sentimental about.
Put it all together - family, church, the Easter Bunny, friends and food. It has it all.

As a middle eastern christian orthodox! We fast for 40 days, specially in mind, no animalistic foods and just go vegan. Or Easter is a month later from now (asyric calender) we celebrate it of course but at the same time we have jobs so sometimes it's difficult to take some days off.
I dyed eggs today and yesterday with my kids.. they have Easter baskets and goodies
Easter for sure. Jesus is alive... we call it resurection Sunday

Not at all. Good Friday is not a US holiday. To us Easter is just another Sunday. by the way, the most popular Sunday holiday in the US is not Easter but Super Bowl Sunday.
You'd be flabbergasted to know that we do celebrate Easter and Good Friday in India. :) It's not a grand celebration for me, but I do spend quality time with fam. :) How do you relax? :)
We do a little bit. We didn't eat meat and made these
Yes we do. Went to Maundy Thursday service yesterday, Good Friday today and will go to Easter service on Sunday. Due to schedules, we've already celebrated Easter with our kids and their families last Saturday.
my mother goes overboard for every holiday which i dread so i try avoiding going to her place as much as possible when holidays come around. it feels more like a task and chore then pleasure because they become so draining mentally and exhausting afterwards dealing with her.
I have no living family and my few friends live thousands of miles away so I don't celebrate any holidays.
Good Friday is a sad day I think, especially around 3pm (15:00) when Jesus died. We do celebrate Easter and meals are being prepared right now for those in the family who need to quarantine.
Yes.. if by celebrate you mean over stuff and rot my teeth on chocolate. Tbh I have no idea what Easter's about but boy do I ever love capitalism making it about chocolate eggs.
I'm just in it for the Caturbury eggs and Reeses Eggs, and Chocolate Marshmallows.
Not a big fan of the holiday. I just chill out people get me chocolate, but I don’t get excited about any of this.
Fun fact... Jesus hated eggs.. HATED them... In fact, the last thing he said to the disciples before he ascended was, “When I come back, I don’t want to see ANY eggs around here... Paint them, hide them, I don’t care... Got it?”
I am not Christian but I always wanted to do a scavenger hunt playing it or creating one.
I do cause my girlfriend wants to but most years I haven't.
I don't celebrate any holidays, birthdays I don't celebrate any holiday, birthdays, anything.
