At any rate, by any objective standard, Joe Biden is quite demonstrably not a good Catholic at all. Yes, he is pro-choice. That's bad enough as it is, but he has since also publicly dissented from the Church that life begins at conception; even Cardinal Wilton Gregory, the cardinal-archbishop of Washington DC, who is extremely liberal, called him out on this. He is also pro-LGBT, having presided over at least one same-sex "wedding" and has embraced the transgender ideology. And he's also brought back his old boss's lawsuit against an order of nuns who sued the Department of Health and Human Services to stop their mandate to pay for contraception.

In violation of the Eighth Commandment and the law of charity, he peddles the false notion that people who disagree with him are racist and has made no apparent effort to make amends for it. He is also proposing policies that place undue burdens on citizens. His public lack of respect for the consciences and freedoms of the American people in regards to the entire COVID situation don't support the "good Catholic" narrative either.

Those are just the things I can think of right now. All this said, I have neither the ability nor the authority to judge the state of his soul. I pray often for him, his health, and for his conversion. However, by their fruits thou shalt know them.

I didn’t necessarily mean you personally, but in a more general sense.
If that is the standard of the Catholic Church, it’s all the more reason to dismiss them. If Biden isn’t living up to their standard, then it’s their right to excommunicate him. However, the Pope doesn’t seem to believe he’s in any conflict, so it sounds like the Catholic Church itself is the one with the conflict.
Like I said, personally, I just dismiss them.

I'm telling how it is. As a politician you don't bring your personal convictions or religion philosophy into politics for the simple reason there are millions of people that won't agree with your religion ideals.

Before Obama in 2008 got elected nearly all American politicians in Congress did not believe same sex marriage including Biden, now a huge chunk of them support same sex marriage because it's the popular thing now.

If a huge chunk of the population quit supporting same sex marriage then the politicians will be against same sex marriages. It's how it is for nearly all politician or they won't get voted into office at least major political office like Congress.
