u +1 yObjectively speaking, he is not. He supports abortion, transgenderism, and same-sex "marriage".
Then there's also his irresponsible spending and immigration policy, his calumnies against Republicans, the lawsuit he wants to restart against the Little Sisters of the Poor, and his personal corruption and that of his family.
There are all sorts of details I could get into about these things and others, but that would likely require a series of MyTakes on the Ten Commandments, the Apostles' Creed, various catechisms, and other sources about the basics of Catholic belief.

Although I'm not Catholic, I'm familiar with the things you talked about. I would say Biden is a compromiser like a very large number of Christians. Believers want to serve God yet still follow the world at the same time. The Bible says you can't do that, "you can't serve God and Mamon at the same time."
Biden is supporting abortion, same-sex marriage, etc. to please the people. Which is one reason why I could never be a politician. I'm just not going to say or do things to please people but what go against my values. - +1 y
Thank you for MHO.
- +1 y
@ManOnFire See, the thing about all this though is that things like abortion aren't religious issues. Sure, religious people, Christians in particular, might speak out the most on them, but that doesn't necessarily make them religious matters. You can still argue about them from ethical, natural law, and metaphysical perspectives.
At any rate, I don't think Joe Biden is supporting these things just to make people happy. Ten years ago, I would have thought so, but now I think he's all in on them. - +1 y
@BCRanger10 Yeah, that's true.

+1 yThe abortion part's the least of it. The open and wanton discrimination, systematic erosion of due process and free expression rights, and wildly irresponsible economic and political decisions that threaten to impoverish tens of millions and bring the world to war are all WAY more important.

+1 yBy Catholic definitions, and I was raised Catholic, in the eyes of the Catholic Church rules and regulations and church laws, or beliefs, lol. Well, i for one voted No in my opinion only, and the irony is, I like President Biden. I'm a sort of swinging Democrat Republican Democrat. Lol. But I'm also Leftie. ☮️✌🏻👀😋 I'm too many things. But back to the question, in my opinion, I'd say No. 🙃

i mean pope can speak for himself. but still i do not accuse biden of intentionally lying, he can't remember what the pope told him so he said it was probably what he wanted to hear.

10 ReplyI doubt it. Any man who has that kind of wealth and who has ordered the death of another would be going against the teachings of Jesus. So I doubt he is a good Catholic.

+1 yWhat's a "good Catholic"? Catholics are heretics who regard a man (the Pope) as semi-divine. They also worship graven images and eat Christ's flesh and drink his blood. F***ing heathens.
02 Reply- +1 y
Ain’t His fleš and blood matsa and wine? I could understand ðe poison in ðe alcohol (drank ðey grape juice, instead, not alcoholic wine?), but matsa is quite košer, especially for Good Friday. I understand ðe woršipping of ðe graven images, ðough.

@HippieVeganJewslim content fles, carl was refering to the detail in catholic faith that the cracker changes into jesus flesh when you eat it so that there is a "physical union" hence the term "communion". south park bothered to mock it in a famous episode, but they were quoting something real.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yMost devout Catholics would probably say no. But a President’s larger duty is to represent a diverse nation, not be an instrument of religion.

10 ReplyNo such thing as a good Catholic. They support pedophiles
114 Reply- +1 y
You know its pure propaganda to cherry pick a few bad apples in one of the worlds largest institutions as evidence to paint the whole institution.
The Catholic church does not support pedophile, they condemn it in every way unlike our cultural leaders who now seek to redefine it as a form of diversity. - +1 y
@monorprise but they don’t see that they’re prosecuted nor do they throw them out of the church as Paul instructed in Corinthians. Plus they do all kinds of things Jesus says don’t do and don’t do anything Jesus says to do. Lent isn’t biblical nor is holy water I can go on and on. It’s a pagan religion led by satan

Accusing me of supporting something evil simply because I don't agree with your baseless claim against the Catholic church is merely evidence of the illegitimately of your own case.
As for what the Bible says, there are many things protestants and Catholic disagree with on that subject. It is not for you to tell the Catholic church how to interpret the bible, but merely to join a protestant denomination that does so correctly in your mind.
As for the law, the church cannot defy the force of the state. If you beleive that to be the case then you need to take it up with the local authority you feel so defied.

Sodomy is a big sin in the bible as is pedophilia. There are many things wrong with the catholic church over history hence the protestant reformation.
But I don't beleive even the catholic church as an institution would so openly violate its key document as to deliberately carry out such a sin. I think your paying attention to someone's baseless claims against the church made for political reasons.
- +1 y
@Pterodon
Once again I am not Catholic I am a member of one of many protestant denominations. There are many things I disagree with about the catholic church as an institution, particularly historically.
I find martin Luther 95 theses to be one of the most significant acts in history mostly because it represents what is necessary to hold any institution accountable.
The Catholic church today however is far more accountable and could not get away with such outrageous crimes. They are thanks to protestant competition a far better and more faithful church.
I still disagree with them on several details including most pointedly the idea that the Bishop of Rome should be in charge. But your conspiracies about them are soo beyond the pale as to be outrageous.
