Do you believe that Tarot cards are witchcraft/demonic?

Witchcraft or demonic? Strictly speaking, no. However, tarot cards, as developed in the 1800s, would likely fall under what is called divination. That basically means that someone is communicating with "occult forces" to discover future events or hidden knowledge. It could also qualify as magic. Both divination and magic are sins against the First Commandment.

Hi um I used to do tarot cards and I still have the urge to do it, is there any way I can be forgiven for doing these things even if I still have the urge to do it, I'm also Catholic and I did go to confession for this but I kept doing it, is there a way I can be truly forgiven.

@PinkFlour yes. Make a good Confession and have a since resolution of amendment, as is so stated in the Act of Contrition. Having an urge or temptation towards something is, by itself, not sinful. It is when you continue to dwell on it and act on the temptation that you have sinned.

That said, what is drawing you towards it?

I think the devil is drawing me towards it, I tried fighting but ended up back at it. But now I want to be through with it for good.

One night it was a full moon I decided I would ask the cards about my future husband so I did it told me good things so much so that after that I would slice my finger to pour drops of blood on my petitions so that I could meet him sooner and then I would burn my petitions and bury the ashes in the park I would bathe in rose water and do my hair in pigtails everyday with red ribbons hoping that these would be the first things he noticed on me I always wanted my husband to love my hair and then I started bathing in rose water and orange peels on sunny days to bring good luck on finding him and guess what? I did find him and he raped me and left me. I'm not blaming the cards but I did open a realm to something and I can't believe to this day this actually happened but if I have kids one day I definitely will not be telling them this story and I wouldn't let them use tarot cards.

Witchcraft/Paganism is not demonic/evil. Thats a rumor christians spread to try to make people afraid to practice and/or have other beliefs. Most religions, including christianity practice witchcraft without knowing it, ( praying = manisfesting, going to church every week = rituals, holy water is moon water only difference is its been blessed) Most religions say the same things just in different ways

I have known people who did this and started having problems with addictions and psychologic changes felt like they were cursed and they kept going to a witch and they reported having one problem gone and a new problem develop, like a broken cycle. I don’t know what to believe since I never experienced it myself

Witches and demons aren't real. But some superstitiously religious people are frightened of anything related to divination of the future -- astrology, Tarot cards, an Ouija board, even the Magic 8 Ball.
