Can unmarried Christian couples see eachother naked?

I know our religion forbids premarital sex, but I'm wondering if we can at the very least look at eachother's bodies.

This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but the correct answer is actually: yes.

Simple nudity does NOT equate sex. I have been to nudist clubs, camps, festivals and beaches and seen a lot of people who were not my girlfriend nude. Did it mean that I lusted after them or had sex with them? No, not at all.

Sexualising nudity is a cultural thing. In America and the Middle East, public nudity is seen as sexual and a 'sin', but over in the likes of the UK and Europe, they have a more sophisticated view of nudity.

What does the Bible say about non-marital public nudity?

In Isaiah 20:2, God commands him to take all his clothes off and preach 'naked and barefoot' for three years as a sign and wonder as to what would happen to Egypt and Ethiopia for mistreatment of the Israelites.

In 1 Samuel 19:24 King Saul was also possessed by a "spirit of the Lord" one day, and he took all his clothes off and prophesised, prompting people to ask: "Is Saul also amongst the prophets?" Was that Lord evil for doing that? Not at all. In fact, accusing the Lord of doing evil is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and is the only sin that God will *NEVER* forgive you for!

Girls: there are some guys who will sexualise you no matter whether you are naked or dressed. You are NOT at fault for some guys who cannot or refuse to exercise self-control at the sight of you!

Jesus reaffirmed this when he taught in Matthew 5: 27 - 30: "You were previously taught 'do not commit adultery'. But I tell you now that any man who looks at a woman to lust after has already committed adultery with her in his heart. So, if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away! It is better to gain God's Kingdom with only one eye than to keep both eyes and be thrown in hell".

The early Christians worshipped nude and were baptised nude as a sign of a new 'birth in Christ' until Gnostic heresy crept into the church claiming all physical matter to be 'evil' and everything spiritual to be 'good'.

I have taken part in a couple of mass nude photoshoots by Spencer Tunick in Brisbane, and there was no bad behaviour at them. None of the guys were going around parading erections or sexually harassing the women. If anything, it caused new friendships to be forged between some of the 5000+ participants.

Short answer: No.

The bible doesn't specifically give a list of what's too far and what's not. Rather, it teaches that God intends for sex to be between a married man and woman. Exposing your genitals to your partner would be a level of intimacy that is basically sex. The point isn't to technically not be having sex of any kind (penetrative, oral, using hands), but to save that level of intimacy for marriage. Torsos and butts - not directly sexual, so discuss that with your dating partner. But keep your privates private for now.

I think most of them do everything except sex. The Mormons have a thing where they lay on each other and then someone else jumps on the bed so their sex parts rub against each other until they cum, but they didn't do it themselves.
