+1 yIslam is devil Worship. Even Mohammad at the beginning of his conversations was not sure if he was talking to an Angel of God, of the Devil.
Why Muslims Hate Dogs
Here is the explanation why Muslims are forbidden to have a dog as a pet or allow one in their house.
It’s in the Hadith — the corpus of reports on the teachings, deeds and sayings of Muhammad. The Hadith was used in forming the basis of Shariah Law and has had a profound and controversial influence on molding the commentaries on the Quran. Much of early Islamic history available today is based on the Hadith and is challenged for lack of basis in primary source material.
Sahih Muslim, Book 24, Number 5246 says:
Chapter : Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture.
‘Aisha reported that Gabriel (peace be upon him) made a promise with Allah’s Messenger [Muhammad] (may peace be upon him) to come at a definite hour; that hour came but he did not visit him. And there was in his hand (in the hand of Allah’s Apostle) a staff. He threw it from his hand and said: Never has Allah or His messengers (angels) ever broken their promise. Then he cast a glance (and by chance) found a puppy under his cot and said: ‘Aisha, when did this dog she
said: By Allah, I don’t know He then commanded and it was turned out. Then Gabriel came and Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said to him: You promised me and I waited for you, but you did not come, whereupon he said: It was the dog in your house which prevented me (to come), for we (angels) do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture.
Sahih Muslim, Book 024, Number 5248:
Then on that very morning he [Muhammad] commanded the killing of the dogs until he announced that the dog kept for the orchards should also be killed, but he spared the dog meant for the protection of extensive fields (or big gardens).
What should you take away from this?
First of all Angels of the true God are not afraid of anything, certainly not a dog, or a puppy.
Second , dogs seem to have an instinct for sensing danger or evil, and will growl or bark as a warning to it's master.
Is this the reason the so called angel did not come into the tent? Because the dog would have given away the true nature of him?
It is clear to me that the Angel Mohammad was waiting for was a minion of the Devil.00 Reply

Also, you don't just "select" faith like some nationality, it selects you.
As for Islam, it's no mere religion, it's actually a way of life. One where you reject all others, but monotheism, adhere to true altruism, and always endeavour for a minimum of reciprocity. Everything else is yours to choose.
You can be a redneck, a Jewish supremacist, a Chinese communist or an African warlord. if you're monotheist, and adhere to the sharia, then you have a chance at redemption. Whether you get it or not is up to God.
Muslims don't believe in being "chosen" as Jews do, nor do they believe in being "saved" as Christians do. Rather, they believe you get what you intended, and are rewarded for what you you actually did. This is why "deathbed conversions" and "forced conversions" are not a thing in Islam.
That aside, Islam is far more nuanced and complex than you've got an idea about now.02 Reply

"forced conversions are not a thing in Islam.". Very funny! You tell good jokes, man! You should take over for Jen Psaki when she retires.
I'm a muslim but I don't follow it as it have many rules which are unfair, racist, unhealthy, offensive to non-muslims, men dominant and which doesn't makes any sense. I believe only humanity as religion and follow it religiously. Actually the truth is no religion is true or no religion is false. Religions are just different ways to respect the power who created all the world. We choose the way we want to respect that power. Now what humans have done is, they made different gods for different religion. And now those who took religion veryy seriously are fighting that which religion is true. Like how can human made fictional character be true one? So logically Islam and all the stories related to it is NOT true. It is just a way few people like to respect the power. I'm not criticizing those who are religious but to those who are extremely religious that they forget to respect other religions. Islam just have followers who take it very seriously so it seems true but if you see from logic then no religion is true. They are just the way one would like to respect the power.

I’ve read the Quran, and I’ve noticed there was no love for God in it, only fear. It says repeatedly that you have to be afraid of God. Why is there only a negative feeling for God? Why do Muslim men have to hide behind beards? Why do Muslim women have to hide under all that clothing? Why are women beaten or killed for refusing to listen to men?
You have to look at Islam’s track record. Whenever there’s an earthquake or whatever in a non-Muslim part of the world, do Muslims come to the rescue? When Muslims claim that ISIS and Al Queda are false Muslims, does the Muslim world declare Fatwa war against them for ‘insulting Islam’? No, but they’ll kill somebody for drawing some dumb cartoon about Muhammad! Fear, selected revenge, and intolerance. That indicates to me that something is very wrong with Islam.11 Reply- +1 y
Islam is a creation of Satan. It is i n itself Satan worship.
+1 yFalse. All religions are fake. They were created because mankind is afraid of its own mortality. People cannot understand oblivion, so invented religion in the hope there is an afterlife. Sorry to disappoint you, guys and girls. This earth and the rest of the universe exists only because of a quirk of particle physics. There is no heaven or hell.

There is one true religion, and is the faith and belief in Jesus Christ as your savior and redeemer.

@fireforeffect It is still a myth. Yes, there might have been a guy going round trying to convert people to his belief in mythology. Still doesn't make religion true.

@fireforeffect Umm, no I don't think so. Granted it is probably the most evil & barbaric of all the Judeo-Christian religions, but I don't think it's worshipping the devil
- +1 y
it is devil Worship. In Fact Mohammad at first was very concerned if it was not the Devil speaking to him.
The angel Gabriel was suppose to come to Mohammad one night but he didn't show up. The next night the angel Gabriel did come and Mohammad asked him why he did not come the night before. The Angel said that there was a dog in the tent and that Angelas will not enter a room where their dogs. The next morning, Mohammad had every dog in the Village put to death.
There are two things that you can take away from this. First, No Angels of God are afraid of dogs.
The second thing is, Dogs can sense evil. This is a proven fact. The reason why the so-called angel would not come into the tent is because the dog would have started barking to warn Mohammad that evil was entering the room.
The so called angel did not want his true self to be given away.
This story is from Islam itself. It’s in the Hadith — the corpus of reports on the teachings, deeds and sayings of Muhammad

No. The Ontological Argument gets you to no greater conclusion that people can imagine a god. That's it. It has no bearing on reality. - +1 y
*no greater conclusion *than* that
- +1 y
The argument specifically states that a real being is greater than an imaginary being, therefore God can't be imaginary.
1) God as we understand him is a Being than which no greater being can be conceived.
2) A Being that exists in reality is greater than a being that exists only in the mind.
3) Therefore, we can't be imagining God. (Proves you wrong)
4) Therefore, God exists.
By definition of the term "God" The God is the greatest real being that actually exists.
It's not possible for God to not exist. - +1 y
The fact I can type "Yes" or "No" shows that free moral agency overrules determinism. This proves that the greatest conceivable Being possesses free moral agency. I am not the greatest being, yet I possess free will, Therefore the GCB must possess free will in order to be greater than me. Therefore the Greatest Conceivable Being is God and he is not imaginary (An imaginary being can't have free will.)
- +1 y
@Wade12345
I explained this last time - But 'Greater' is nebulous and debatably subjective.
But whatever, I'll dismantle this again.
"1) God as we understand him is a Being than which no greater being can be conceived."
OK, that's your god definition. No issue yet.
"2) A Being that exists in reality is greater than a being that exists only in the mind."
Like I said, 'Greater' is nebulous. But whatever, I'll let this go for now.
"3) Therefore, we can't be imagining God. (Proves you wrong)"
No. At best what you've done is disprove your god.
Because you've imagined a being that is 'greatest', and no such real being exists. Therefore your imaginary being is greater than your god definition.
"4) Therefore, God exists."
No. There are many steps missing before you'd be able to get to this conclusion. You've presented an argument for the existance of imagination. Nothing more.
"The fact I can type "Yes" or "No" shows that free moral agency overrules determinism."
This isn't really relevant to the conversation - But no, it doesn't overrule determinism. If you have a choice of yes or no, you'll have all the thought processes of making the decision, but on a grander scale the decision you came to was always destined to happen. It just sounds like you don't understand determinism. - +1 y
It sounds like you don't understand Quantum Mechanics: I do.
Free Will actually collapses the Quantum Wave Function, therefore Free Will overrides both quantum theory and determinism.
Dr. Kaku is the leading expert on both particle physics and String Theory, and he says free Will overrides determinism.
https://youtu.be/Jint5kjoy6I - +1 y
IN certain quantum systems, events do not happen unless there is a sentient observer looking at them. this means we are in fact Free Moral Agents, but it also means since the Big bang is one such system, the first cause of reality must also be a free moral agent, otherwise it could not have created the first quantum wave function much less collapsed it to cause the Big bang.
- +1 y
in the Schroedinger's Cat paradox, the cat does not die until a sentient observer actually opens the safe and looks at the cat, even though the door to the safe is not wired to the decaying particle The decaying particle cannot finish decaying until a sentient observer looks at it in the process of decaying, because the act of sentient observation is what collapses the wave function and changes the state of the decaying particle.
This goes against "common sense" but it does not go against true logic, in fact logic demands that the particle cannot decay without an observer looking at it. both relativity and qm and string theory are "counter-intuitive' but again common sense and intuition are often wrong. all of those theories are logically sound, - +1 y
The time-reverse causality of QM and the "Last-in first out" rule of QM have both been tested precisely in laboratory experiments and found to be true. Therefore Determinism is not true, but God already knows what we will do anyway, because tachyons are real and can carry information backwards in time, and time reverse quantum entanglement is real and can carry information back in time.
- +1 y
No, by definition of points 1 and 2, which you didn't even object to, God is defined as being the greatest real being that actually exists. So point 3 follows logically from 1 and 2 that God CANNOT be imaginary.
The Greatest Conceivable Being is the First Cause. There can't be anything greater than the Entity which created all of reality, whether or not you believe that Entity is sentient.
The Greatest Conceivable Being is a Free Moral Agent, because obviously a Being that overrides determinism is greater than a being that doesn't override determinism. - +1 y
Some systems in Relativity are deterministic, such as dropping a ball and it's attracted by gravity.
some quantum systems are not deterministic at all.
Some quantum systems are time-reversed deterministic, such as tachyons.
Some quantum systems obey a "Last-in first out rule", such as the STack rules of Magic: The GAthering, which is a quantum system. You can't know the other person's next move until they play their next card, and so the quantum wave function doesn't collapse until the sentient player decides what card to play, whether or not they makke the correct decisions. - +1 y
to give you an idea of how free will works, Chess and REal time strategy games are actually quantum systems. When i learned to play a non-deterministic style of chess, I improved 3 entire league levels in a matter of a few days. I can beat Chess Titans on max difficulty without losing any pawns or Pieces, because the computer cannot comprehend how to beat a non-deterministic strategy.
I've won "1vs3 Experts" games in Starcraft 1 and 2 by playing a non-deterministic strategy. I might be able to out-macro all three opponents on half their Actions Per Minute, or I might be able to train just one Helicopter and kill 80 enemy units with one of my own units and never lose a Unit in a 4vs4 experts game.
Understand? Free will. I win 99% of my games against EXPERTS in SC1, and I win 90% of my games against EXPERTS in SC2, and I don't need to practice to beat a round of 32 player in SC1.
Chess and RTS are not deterministic games. They are quantum games. They have a "Meta-game" and a "Micro-game". a micro game is a game within a game. a metagame is when the game is not contained by the rules of the game. If you learn something about metagame that other players don't understand, you can win almost every game, even if the other player is very good, and even if they can hit buttons 3 times faster than you can hit them. I can predict my opponent's actions based on WHERE they place their first tech structure in an RTS and I auto-win if my prediction is correct. Even if my prediction is incorrect, I still win because it means they're probably doing something inferior anyway. - +1 y
And that's not a contradiction, because the tech tree in RTS is deterministic, but your opponents actions are not necessarily deterministic.
I never use "build orders" because build orders reveal your plan to your opponent. I play an unpredictable style of play. I plan on using Scouts vs Terran, but the third to last thing I'll train is scouts and the last thing I train is an Arbiter... but I throw out my entire plan if I see i can win right away anyway with Reavers. - +1 y
And yes, I've actually beaten a Double Grand Master team in sc2 in 2vs2 with only a bronze league ally, because I play non-deterministically, and I taught my bronze ally how to play that way, and beat two grand masters in 2vs2 arranged team... with a bronze ally.
It proves free will exists. If the game was deterministic, gthe grand masters should have mopped the floor with me since I had a bronze ally. (seven entire leagues below GM) - +1 y
More on how gaming demonstrates free will.
I might be able to open 4 proxy barracks and eliminate one Grand Master before the other even realized I'm attacking, or I might open 3 rax into starport and make banshee (helicopter) and harrass both enemy grand masters to death while my ally builds up an impossibly big army. I might even be able to do that without losing a Unit if the enemies make a few mistakes. - +1 y
Sir Roger Penrose, who invented the first formal hyper-dimensional theory of reality, has stated that the Human Brain is a quantum system, therefore the laws of Quantum Mechanics govern the human brain, not the laws of determinism. Therefore the wave function of the human brain is determined by the human brain, not external stimuli.

Stop Gish Galloping.
You've been told not to do this before. - +1 y
