@888theGreat @888theGreat the Bible describes God as being everything and everywhere. We are created in his image. This obviously doesn't mean that we actually ARE God, but rather that we are a part of God.
This idea is hard to visualize but a hint is in the concept that Jesus is God but God is different from Jesus in the sense that Jesus is God's sun. How can this be true? The actual answer is still up for debate however being able to intelligently take part in it requires understanding something about our world. Something science recently (relatively) discovered that the Bible hints at.
Everything is made up of the same stuff. All atoms break down into the same stuff. All existence is vibrations of energy and the rippling of that energy creates everything that we call reality.
What this means is that down to the most basic level of existence, there is almost no difference between the keyboard you're typing on and a thought in your head. Everything is made of the same stuff and is therefore connected.
This is all unargued stuff to both sides so far, things get a little more controversial from here however these ideas (which I believe in) are a great starting point to understand if you want to get really serious about studying the Bible and your religion (even if it's not Christianity because most religions are ultimately attempting to circle around these ideas)
This interwovenness of all things is part of the reason why the main messages of the Bible are so important. It's all teachings meant to help humanity develop and walk towards balance in a world of chaos. It's good to spend time thinking about how following the 10 commandments can be argued to relate and help facilitate this balance.
If you've ever heard someone say that hating another human being is the same as hating God, this ideology is where that saying comes from. It's not only hating God to hate someone else, it's also to hate yourself.

Most people I show the evidence to people like you don't watch it. Would you honestly watch a multi episode series that proves it? People have been heavily indoctrinated for years, being taught in schools, then expect me to prove evidence to instantly convince them. Otherwise I say watch Hydroplate theory on youtube by Walt Brown or Creation by God or Evolution from Nothing by Nicolene Filmalter.
