So what's the rule on bacon exactly obviously you can't eat it but what if you were to touch it or smell the delicious aroma it gives off when cooked

Well so do dogs but last I checked that's not off the menu but it should be dogs are amazing and as for the bacteria thing well yeah if your a shit cook you can get sick from eating pork but not to make basically the same point again but couldn't you say the same thing about chicken just learn how to overcook and not under cook and your be fine right. I get it, we don't eat dog meat either. There are some conditions for us. and as long as there are animals that fulfill these conditions, we eat them. It is true that there are bacteria in chicken meat, but it is not an animal that feeds on its own feces.

What If a cow eats it own poop at some point before its death so it's still in the digestive tract when the meat is being processed is that meat now unsuitable and if someone unknowingly eats it are they now breaking the rule. Also is their a punishment for this rule if its knowingly/ unknowingly broken or is it just a heavy suggested type thing so you still have free will to do so if you want
