umm not all christians are like that - christians are not homophobic - they don't hate homosexual people - they will treat them equally but they just disagree with man and man being together or woman and woman being together because that's not how things were made to be - natural order was at the beginning of the earth when God created Adam he created a partner for him as well - and that was a female - Eve not a man but a woman - this establishes the fact that man and woman are naturally meant to be supporting one another and that's just how it is.
of course there are some christians who are extreme and are homophobic i'm not saying that this isn't about but it can't be generalised that all of us are like that - i have gay friends, trans friends etc they know where I stand - if we can all exist in peace as long as we know each other's stance then it's all ok.
God said being homosexual is not right and is a sin - and therefore we believe this - there's no other explanation - it's not strong, hard facts like what you asked for - only because the people you tell that too don't believe and you don't believe either.
