A few suggestions for Atheists so that they don't run out of words of condolences in their friends' funeral service?

Mine will be in a field, with a Rowan Tree as my tree on at the grave.
funnily enough love and sorrow does not require a book to tell people what to do.
Some people need a book simply to be nice, others can be nice to others without a book.
For example, a funeral of a gay guy, let’s see how some people with religion react….
We say "May God Forgive His Sins and Bestow His Mercy on Him" !!
Zero sins though
google up "secular condolences speech". also if your friend was religious, you could still place some words about how you hope that his chosen god may accept him in the heaven that he believed in or something along those lines.
Just do what most others do at funerals and visitations, focus on remembrances and celebrate the lives they led and keep religion out of it. Also, avoid tasteless comments like the ones in the illustration. It’s not a cocktail party; families usually have only a minute or two to spend with each attendee. It’s not difficult.
I knew what to expect and I tried to keep a straight face, but the fertilizer one got me. The hand on the shoulder.

Most funerals are spent commemorating the life of the departed, not speculating on what is happening to them after death. Funerals are for the living - the dead don't care.
Everybody speculates about what happens after death. And that's how Atheists speculate!! 👌👆😂
An Atheist believes that god doesn't exist... that doesn't mean they have to believe there is no afterlife.
Went to a funeral this weekend.
"I am so sorry for your loss."
"She was amazing"
"She will be missed"
"Remember the time when she?"
There. Didn't need more than that.
Atheist or not, it seems normal if people just hug and cry without words. Doesn't have to be complicated.
Oh, grow up.
