I believe that if you have sex with multiple partners or a toxic person it can spiritually mess you up.

Sexual relations in the scriptures let us know that it is a gift from God, to be enjoyed by married couples according to God's marital arrangement. It is never stated or implied to be a sacred act. However, guidelines are given. The vow of marriage was to be lifelong, and sexual relations were to remain between the man and the woman. Further, the emphasis is placed not on selfish pleasure, but the interests and needs of your mate. It holds true that there is more happiness in giving than in receiving.
When humans start to go against the arrangement of God and do other things, the result is the suffering and heartbreak we see so much today. Lack of loyalty, natural affection, unopened to agreement, unnatural sexual relations, violence, abuse, and so on.

For two persons in love making love, yes, there's something sacred in that act. The sensations in such circumstances are incredibly beautiful.

On the other hand can't be called sacred just having sex for sex while using a partner's body as masturbation toy. The answer depends on people involved with each other and their state of mind.

At a higher level there's a form of meditation called Tantra Yoga, where, if I'm not mistaken, a man and a woman complete each other to reach a higher level of consciousness, which means the act becomes sacred.

Yes, having sex with someone that values you like you value them is the best sex anyone can ask for , people that need multiple partners and people that cheat and try to go back to their partners like nothing happened are the biggest pieces of shit on the planet to me , Having sex with someone that wants to grow with you is how love grows , when you can remove selfishness and sacrifice for each other and knowing you are safe in each other’s arms and comfortable With each other is the best sex in my opinion. Cliche to say but "hookup" culture has destroyed long lasting connections. Sex is the ultimate bonding mechanism - though sex for pleasure has always existed and whor*s have always existed it has never been as morally accepted by a society as now.

An African friend once told me that a woman whom has had too many sex partners had lost her soul. Every man that entered her took a piece of her when he left.

For men its similar but being cheated on by the one they fell for is the most damaging. Because men must put themselves out there hoping to be accepted. Women choose. To be chosen and gove your heart then be betrayed will damage them permanently.

The men and women whom say otherwise must constantly justify their actions because deep down they know its wrong.

I think it's sacred in the same way water is sacred. You can say a prayer and it becomes holy water or you can spray it in the air and have a wet t-shirt contest. You could put a rag over someone's face and pour it over to torture them too.

I think sex is just like that. It can be an incredibly spiritual experience that uplifts both parties, it can be the total opposite or it can be neither.
