Not really.
Sex with anyone not your spouse would be נאפ ("na'af"; "nah-AF";「adultery」). Or at the very least, that would be πορνεύω ("porneuō"; "por-NEW-oh"; v.「to commit fornication/sexual-immorality/unlawful-sex」, the origin of the English term "porn"), the general catch-all term.
「Did you/are you waiting…?」
Personally? My answer is here: Are you searching for LOVE?
「…what happens if someone NEVER finds a partner…?」
Then, it was never meant to be. So bit it.
If fate decreed it, it would have happened, regardless of all struggles, efforts, and barriers to prevent it. If destiny proved otherwise, all the money, time, effort, energy, and all else invested fighting upstream was a waste.
And some people should never have a partner, for the other person's safety, overall well-being, and basic sanity.
「…how are they supposed to live a whole lifetime untouched…?」
For those with more prominent sex-drive, self-restraint & self-discipline. There's more to life than sex. Enjoy and make the most of it.
For who don't, it's less of an internal battle than an external, with people trying to bate or shame to address the perceived deficiency.
「If you reached 40 - 50 and still a virgin wouldn't you feel God had let you down/forgotten you?」
Personally, again? In my case, no. Should I seriously feel entitled, as though the great מלך העולם ("Melek haOlam"; "MEH-lek ha-oh-LAM"; 「King of the Universe」) Himself owed me anything‽ lol
I am already fortunate enough to own more than many of compatriots in my birthplace. The New Testament documents workers' wages to be 1denarius, which contained 4grams of silver (about $5), per day… a rate now deemed illegally-low even in my side of the world. I live in a time of more peace & prosperity than in centuries past (no Hundred Years' War; Warring-States Period; Mongol invasion; revenge-attacks of Shaka Zulu; daily Aztec human-sacrifices, preferably war-captives; etc.). Despite the recent pandemic, the greatest health-based killers of the day are generally self-inflicted from unhealthy lifestyles. And my cheap toilet with running-water alone eliminates the need (& eye-watering expense!) for multiple castles kings & emperors of Europe required to not live in putrid-smelling home. The wealthiest of royals, nobles, and merchants of old would have envied the Hell out of us! What more the common folk‽
If the King included it in his decree, so be it. Many thanks to Him, in that case. If not, all is well, nonetheless. If the all-wise, -knowing, and -benevolent saw no need of it, then neither do I.
Besides, I value quality over quantity. I could fly back and show-off my 1st-world nation passport, U. S. dollars (common-use high-denomination bills, as well as legal-tender gold & silver coins), while waving an application for a fiancé/spouse visa application-form, and that would no doubt work. But what type of women would I gather? What would be the nature of our dynamics? How long would it last? Is that really the best thing?00 Reply

u +1 yNo, I do not believe it's okay because it is expressly forbidden by the Sixth Commandment, which Christ Himself reaffirms in the Gospels.
Yes, I did wait until I got married. I would have been at peace with it had I not gotten married because I am perfectly aware of the fact that man was not created to have sex, but to serve and glorify God. Human love and contact are important, but that is not the end of human existence and of life.
In the end though, I think that people having less sex anyway, it's ultimately a moot point.20 Reply
I think it’s fine to have sex before marriage as long as you respect yourself.
A lot of the bible is man made bullshit. It was literally written by people thousands and thousands of years ago - translated through so many languages and times, and we’re expect to believe that it’s completely and wholly God’s word? It’s dumb and you got to be gullible to believe that.
I 100% believe in God. But my family doesn’t go to church because the people there are usually hypocritical arseholes. And I don’t believe that everything said in the bible is the truth.
I believe that God loves us and looks after us, and as long as we’re good enough people, we’ll go to heaven. He’s not unreasonable. He doesn’t expect us to live up to out of these world expectations. Be a good person and he’ll be happy.212 Reply- +1 y
And I truly believe that those teachings are harmful. They make us feel ashamed for normal bodily functions and wants. It fucks with peoples heads and self esteems.
I had sex at 14 - I’m not proud of it and it was the biggest mistake of my life. Then I thought I had done something wrong because the bible said so. It messed with my self esteem and I cried about it for months on end.
But I came to realise that God loves me regardless and nobody’s perfect, and he doesn’t expect me or anyone to be perfect. Then I thought about it logically and I realised that a lot of teachings are just plain lies. - +1 y

That's a very popular belief and is what Satan tells most people. How are you supposed to know the truth if you don't read it? People these days just give themselves excuses to sin. You can't believe in God and not believe in his word in the bible, that's why you even know about him. - +1 y
@sean1234 That may be your belief but I have a different one, which is just as justified and just as important.
I know God exists because I believe that there has to be a person up there doing something. I relate that God to Christianity but either way, I would have believed in something.
And it’s not just the bible but history. - +1 y
@sean1234 We don’t know who wrote the bible really, do we? What piece of knowledge, for a fact, tells us the bible was written by God?
It could have been written by satan for all we know.
I’m not living my life off a book. If you want to, good for you. But I’m still gonna have sex, I’m still gonna drink, I’m still gonna kiss boys, I’m still gonna smoke shit, I’m still gonna swear and I’m still gonna walk around with my tits out. - +1 y
Who wrote the bible?
The funny thing with that is that there are several different Bibles, most of which have been tampered with. If God wrote every Bible, they would all be the same word for word. If Satan screwed with the bible, don't you think he would take out the verses that connect Jesus being God? Many do, the Kjv doesn't.
My relatives and others I knew did the having sex thing young, they were all single parents because of it, only learning how to break up instead of staying together. As for alcohol, Marianne was her name, very pretty and very dead by her late 20s. You can die young or look really old before your time if you want, don't recommend it. Kiss boys in moderation, lol. Swearing🤷🏻♂️, it server no real purpose, it's a replacement for logic that could have been used in its place. As for the tits thing, if you mean topless, that's generally illegal in most places, what you wear at home is up to you. - +1 y
@sean1234 I rarely drink. I was exaggerating. I won’t age badly, my mum is 43 and people think she’s 27.
Having a few drinks every now and again won’t change that. And the 4 times I’ve been proper drunk in my life isn’t going to do anything. It’s normal where I’m from.
I sleep well, take care of my skin and drink plenty of water. Plus I have a great genetics for generations.

@sean1234 Everyone always says how beautiful my family is.
My whole family got stopped by a group of women in a hotel last night telling us how beautiful we are. They were grabbing my waist and asking me if I work out or if my body’s natural, telling me how pretty I was.
They were rich women from a reality TV show, so they loved my mum haha. She looks like a rich milf, she definitely belongs in those hotels.
It might sound arrogant, but I have a pretty family. Deal with it.

+1 yI told my dad, if your standards are low, there is always somebody you could date, if I’m 50 and desperate for sex, I can marry a Christian guy with a good heart that’s disabled.

+1 yNo, sex before marriage is not ok by the Christian faith under ANY circumstance. It is a forgivable sin like all other sins (other than blasphemy), but is still a sin. If you are still unmarried by age 40-50 then that is probably because God had a reason for it. God's ways and thoughts are higher than ours. Not everyone is meant for marriage and birthing children. Just because you FEEL like God let you down does not mean he did. God is not bound by how we feel and think about him. God is absolute truth, love and goodness and if he denies you something there is a good reason for it. Part of being a believer is fighting to overcome our urges so they do not lead us to sin. We MUST put our faith in him and trust that when he denies us something it is for a good reason and probably to protect us.

+1 yIt is definitely not appropriate. Just because this is a sin many people commit doesn’t mean it isn’t a sin. God has a better plan than the life many of us are living. I am absolutely certain that I would sex is better if you do it the way he planned. I haven’t done that, but I’m wrong.
10 ReplyI am a Christian and have had sex outside of marriage. I openly acknowledge that I shouldn't and it is something I’ve struggled with, but I know it's not what we should do. I don't have an excuse for this. My flesh does get the best of me.

No, I don't believe in sex before marriage.
I'm not waiting. I'm living life. I don't want to have sex with someone I don't love.
God hasn't let me down. I've had opportunities. But we didn't love each other. It didn't work out.
I think you're making a little too big of a deal out of sex.20 ReplyBiblically it's not okay. We waited and it went well.
