Can a lost person be fully found the way they were before?

I had three problems in life that made me think my dreams were no longer possible - I wonder if I can return to what I was meant to be before it all started, maybe it can and maybe it can’t, that is God’s decision.

I am honestly not sure. I think there are certain ships that may "sail" permanently. (Such as I will probably never play in the MLS.) But for other things, there is still a chance.

No. You can work your way back to a previous dream, I guess. But you'll never be the same person again.

You can still return to your goals. However, you will never be the same person you once were. Doesn’t make you any better or worse as a person nor does it make your goals impossible to achieve. It just means the way you go about your goals might be different or need to be approached differently due to your life experiences.

You can never move backwards, only forward.
Trying to go back to something is impossible because you know more and have lived more today.
What you can do is go forward and to a place where you have that dream again but this time you're a different person and can actually achieve it.

If pursuing this dream is what fulfills you, I’d say go for it. Life is more than working and then dying. If you have a dream worth fighting for, fight for that dream. God’s plans for people are rarely an easy pathway. Most of the time, it’s a hard path that God challenges us to take.

If you mean a full return to the exact way, then no. Things have happened and you are no longer the same person you were. This can be both good and bad depending on what happened. However, you can still attempt to get your dreams.

I don't personally worship God, so this is more of a personal take, but sometimes you have to take the step if God doesn't. Not everything will be done for you and if free will is true, then that also means you must use it to get what you want. In other words, sometimes you need to an active participant in your life than God is. If that makes sense.
