Why are women more likely to be religious than men?

Question

There are very few nonreligious members in my family; probably 6 of them. Among them is me and the 5 men. Unbelievable but yes I'm the only nonreligious woman in the family.

Even though it's already June 2022, people are free to believe in what they want and women aren't force to go to church anymore... why are there still more religious women than men?

Your family are like mine. Me and my mother is Christians while my father is a Muslim and my brother is an Atheist. But this thing have never and ever been an issue for any of us. We are all respectful against each other not only in religious related matters but also in any kind of topics. This is already what we need. When its time comes to talk about your question I would say the women are almost always emotional , their feelings are much more sensitive and mostly in a better condition when compared to that of men. So , to me , this spirituality belonging to the women is mostly affects them to be much more prone to the religion. Think about a baby of a sleeping couple starts crying in the midnight , since the mother is much more sensitive than the father she immediately wakes up and starts taking care of the baby while the father does not even hear it. For instance , sometimes my mother warns me about a thing that her feeling tells her that something is going to occur in a probable way that happens to me and it happens or not like she tells me , therefore , I believe in sixth sense , mostly. Anyway , what I mean is that these are based on spiritual things and also properties , capabilities , tendencies or aptitudes of women. By the way the same thing has almost never happened to my father lol he has no such a skill/ability/talent and asks my mother what her sense tells her about him doing something next or the next step that he take or not. He appreciates her but me and my brother cannot hide our astonishment against our mother including my father :)

Because they are infantilized, therefore they are not asked to be rational. This leads them to believe more in nonsense things, such as religions, be they spiritual or secular. If you notice, educated women tend to be less religious.

This is almost a uniquely Western phenomenon. The Orthodox, Islamic, Buddhist, and other faiths don't really have this issue.

Western Christianity is structured around appeasing the feminine. In church they sing songs in a high key about being weak and needy, and love this and love that. Jesus is reduced from your Lord to your friend. Women are frankly coddled, and masculine traits like aggression and ambition are demonized and labeled "un-Christian."

Religious "leaders" in the West are really shifty, weak, effeminate people, they tend to be really underhanded, scandalous and hypocritical. They're really parasitic and useless people, they always have their hand out for money but they're never doing or building anything useful for society.

All of this stuff is really off-putting for men.

Women like to be led. God can take the role of their leader when a man is not there to do so. Men are generally more independent and designed to lead and so their path to God is often somewhat different.

Because "religion" is just society with all the fun removed. NO churches practice the actual religion they believe in. The ones that do are fringe lunatics. The issue is that religion has SUBMITTED to society. If religion werent as wishy washy, more men would participate.

Women are more spiritual and sensitive to those kinds of things. Women are intuitive and indwelling of the Holy Spirit is a righteous walk that they are more in tune with. I get it though as it’s indescribable when God shows up…

Women try to get support this also means support from religion and spirituality, Meanwhile Men are less likely to get support.
It's the same reason why more women will go to therapy for depression, meanwhile more guys won't.

Probably because religion is often as much about social cohesion as it is personal belief. Men are much freer in rejecting and reexamining social cohes than women are; it's how we evolved.

It’s not always the case. However I feel like women show it more men may also have faith in their heart but they don’t show as much on the outside which is wrong in my opinion. My Family member was like this and one day when he was in hospital (not on medication) awake he actually saw Jesus Christ. Ever since then he changed and is more open about his faith.

"Religious" is just a word, it's the word of God that matters. Women aren't more likely, they are equally as indoctrinated in false Christianity as the other.

Are they? My sister is Pagan, my mother is as well, my grandma believes aliens made us as an experiment, my other grandma is atheist. All the men in my family are religious though.
