Why do churches in the West have twice as many women in attendance as men?

Every other major religion is roughly 50/50 in their unisex worship services. and outside the West most churches are likewise about 50/50. But Western churches are about 65-35 women to men.

Why are there so few men in Western congregations? What can be done to change this?

If true (and I have no reason to doubt so), probably because most people today see religion as a matter of feeling and emotion, by which women are generally more influenced than men. Men simply don't see the need or appeal of religious faith. Religious faith can manifest itself partly in emotion, but "feeling good" is not the object of religion, and neither is it good morals.

The object of religion, Christianity in particular, is to reconcile man with God. That involves discipline and sacrifice, and it also involves competition and yes, even struggle and conflict. It also involves tradition and legacy. These are all things that are stimulating and attractive to men. These should therefore be what is central to Christian liturgy and life if men are to attend church more often.

In short, Christianity needs to be an unmistakably masculine religion again.

Because Western churches are thoroughly feminized with the weak 19th-century protestantism that sprung up in America. This, along with prohibition and first-wave feminism, were a result of the best and bravest of a whole generation of men getting cut down during the Civil War.

They r prob at work or police who have to work on weekends etc I don't know
