Like the Greek Mythologies, which are not *literally* true but are still fables that teach us about human nature, so is the Genesis Creation story. The "curses" God visits upon Mankind? They are what makes us different from all other animals. People HAVE "eaten from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil" (metaphorically) in a way that other creatures have not.

And for THAT reason, this account really OUGHT to be taught in Public Schools. Not as Divine dogma, of course, but as a mythology story that still even if totally made up, tells us something about ourselves as people.

I know nothing about religion and holy books--don't kill me--We all know about the stone age and how humans developed and if Adam and Eve existed before them how was this whole incident passed to the stone age people if they couldn't speak or understand because they had no language.
