I dunno.
It would depend a lot on how they behave. How much does their religion influence their political positions, etc. I'm not going to be friends with someone who would vote for laws that would strip rights from me. I'm also not going to hang around someone who keeps using the same tired arguments to support their god claim that I've refuted ad-nauseum to them.If they just happen to belong to a religion, but for all intents and purposes are really just paying lip-service to their religion while not actually embodying anything it commands them to do, then fine, whatever.

My husband and I are very religous and so my answer to that is Yes.
