I have lots of non-religious friends. They tend to be smarter, better informed, more curious and open minded than religious people.

I have lots of friends who are religious, too - Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, Hundus, ...
The only people I can't stand are Bible thumping, religious fanatics who constantly push their beliefs to the forefront and can't understand why anyone would disagree.

The idea that religion makes people more moral and ethical is nonsense.

Some people use religion to justify horrible behavior. Look at followers of the Talmud, or salafists like Saudis, AlQaida, ISIS and the Taliban. Look at the way the Holy Roman Empire behaved, or Anglicans/Cromwellians, or the Spanish inquisition, or Puritans, or conquerors of African and indigenous Americans.

The fact that you seem to have a problem with atheist and don't seem to be willing to tolerate and respect them because you are religious yourself and don't understand atheist proves already that you are more of a problem being religious then me being atheist.

Most off today wars, past wars and probably also future wars are often being caused by three things... money, power or religion

It's religious people who are most problematic in accepting other religions and different views/opinions.

For example look at what's happening in Gaza right now... Religious people commenting genocide against other relgious people.
Atheist are simply way more open-minded and tolerant then relgious people.

I think people are people and they have the same rights as you and I. And just because I believe in something it doesn't mean I right. So I would push my beliefs on to anyone and I want the same respect. Now that doesn't mean I won't chat about I love a good chat so to answer you yes I can be a friend

As you get older, you'll realize everyone is inherently evil, even if they'd never admit that themselves. Everyone cheats, lies, steals, blasphemes God continually, etc, and so. It even says so in the Bible in Genesis that "mankinds thoughts are only evil continually".

I think you are full of s***. The biggest threat is religious people. I live in the most secular city in the US (Seattle) and people are nicer than people in more religious Dallas.
