+1 yPlot twist: God disappeared in 1928, but no one noticed. Everyone just kept on living and doing everything exactly the same.
The point the guy is making in the video I thought of over a decade ago. It really doesn't matter if God is around or not, because people will still act the same ways. If they believe in God, then they will keep going to church, praying, doing all their things they do. If a hurricane hits, they will pray, if their grandma's cancer goes away, they will rejoice. None of that has any relevance to whether God is actually around or not.
I realized this shortly after I realized (around 19 years old) that I could no longer believe in God. That the belief being true was a possibility, but that there were also many other possibilities, and I couldn't just pick this one as being the one I was sure of, since I really wasn't sure. I used to be really sure, but that was before I had more information and thought about it seriously. Belief in God to me is a combination of ignorance and lack of critical thought. If anyone has sufficient information and critical thinking skill, they are not going to believe in God. It is a lack of one or both of those things that enables religious beliefs.

God doesn't have a beginning or an ending, he simply does not subject to our laws of physics!
Yet with all his mightiness, he loves us and forgives us!

When you talk about god, it's not science, not something that you can test in labs and come up with results and evidence...
Back when Jesus came to earth, he did all his miracles in front of people and many chose to disbelief him, so i won't blame someone after 2022 years asking me what's the evidence 😄
Even science ain't perfect, that's why there are always updates and have science haven't figured out a lot of things in this universe, we still have billions of questions to ask and bothing to be proven!
Always remember that god ain't the genie in a lamp, he's not going to act like it, some people thinks that god should always does their wishes and to be always ready to fullfill their dreams, it's like god you do this for us and we will believe in you and if not than you're fake, that's not how it works 😂😂 - +1 y
@Anders
I have proof. What is the origins of everything?
The Big Bang? One densely packed atom that is self existing? It created itself? That violates some of the principals of thermodynamics which state mater is nether created nor destroyed. Every single molecule that was here at the formation of everything is still here. Maybe in a different form, but it still exists.
Something outside our space/time domain is required to explain the origins of everything. Hence the eternal one, God himself.
If your going to argue with me now it’s your turn. You prove me wrong. Prove God doesn’t exist. - +1 y
@Exterminatore well said, they also might tell you that the big bang might be created from a past universe cause it's cyclic than you will ask but from where it has started or if it was created from a black hole in another bigger universe and we on the other side of it which it called white hole, than from where did the bigger universe came from and if there are multi universes than from where did they all came?
From the universe got it's order and harmony, how did life emerged from from shbstances that aren't alive?
How were we shaped and formed like that?
If a person is going to deny god than he's going to deny him even if he saw him and would tell him that he's a liar, the same thing which happened 2022 years ago, if you have faith than you're going to believe that god exists and that he's a mighty power with a consciousness and feelings but on a level that we will never be able to understand!
We must be happy that god loves us and when the creator loves us it means nothing in this world can make us feel affraid...
We must be affraid of ourselves when we ask this question if we truly deserves the love and mercy of god?
Imagine an all mighty god being humble and gave us freedom and we humans who are nothing compared to him, act and think that we are gods!
Stephen hawking thought himself that he's on the same level of god if ot more!
This man lived his life trying to deny god more than studying about science, it's like every experiment he did and every study he came up with must be ended with a quote that says that there ain't no need for a god in this universe and bla bla bla...
Mr. Dead hawking, now that you're dead i think that you have found out some answers to you're questions but i'd love to see how are you now if after you died you woke up somewhere to found out that death ain't the end and that god exists but cannot return to this world and tell the whole people that all you're claims about god were fake and unreal!
- +1 y
For example, stephen hawking had disease which made him paralized since his twenties and the best doctors told him that he have only couple of years before he died, he lived and died in his 70's maybe more and broke hia doctor's claims and it was impossible for science to explain how he was able to live this long cause he should of been dead from decades ago but in contrary, in his last years of life they took him to experience the 0 G in space which means no gravity at all and his body floated in the vessel and had a wonderful experience, still with all these he kept denying the existence of god!
Mr dead hawking, god ain't going to beg you to believe in him, it was always your choice to whether you want to believe in him or not and sadly you left this world without believing in him!
You thought that you were an all mighty, until a plumber had beaten you in the theory of black holes and you have admited later to suskin that he's right and that his theory was the right one and not yours which shows how much you still lack info in you're field...
Anyways i hope that you R. I. P
u +1 yI feel like God has already given up on mankind and stepped back from us to let us destroy ourselves. So if he disappeared, there would be no difference.
Just what I personally think. I find it hard to believe that if God was still helping mankind, that the awful things happening in the world would still be happening.13 Reply- +1 y
Free will.. Mankind allowed the world to become this way, and so God is not going to jump in and correct our bad decisions and mistakes til it's the right time.. If God were to eliminate evil, it would be all that is evil in his eyes also.. Which means we all would be eliminated..

@JDavid25 well said!
The best thing humans are good at is always throwing their sh*t on someone else and always blame god for what's happening...
Jesus came to earth did the impossible and the supernatural and taught us about everything on how to become really special and humans, yet they shouted at the end, kill jesus kill jesus!
The majority of humans are just a bunch of animals, dangerous demonic animals because their minds is controlled by the devil but in the end they will all fail and only the goodness and the light will win! - +1 y

If it disappears the person who ate them is going to the store to replace them.
If any other god in the universe has a problem with that, they can first appear and we can hash it out face to.. whatever they have. If they want to share the new bag they better ask first or they can go get their own.

On the logical impossibility of God disappearing the world and Universe would literally turn to hell.. Everything we think is bad now, will be amplified more and more.. Creation would deteriorate to a point unfathomable..

Well because God is Omnipresent.. He's outside of time, space, and matter.. He exist in all times and places.. Even if a multiverse exist he is there too.. He is also Omnipotent meaning all powerful... It's probably quite impossible to make infinity disappear.. Now he could disappear in a way where his presence isn't felt throughout the Universe..

The best evidence is that according to one of the principals of thermodynamics, mater is neither created nor destroyed.
Therefore, something outside our space/time domain is required to have created all that exists since mater cannot create itself. - +1 y
The only ones that are saying that something was created out of nothing is people like you. You think that you're God poofed everything into existence out of nothing. That's not what science says.
How is it possible to exist outside of space-time? For something to "exist" for no time, is to not exist. For something to "exist" at no point in space, is to not exist. Existence entails time and space. - +1 y
Dude, this is actually really simple.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservation_of_mass
If mass, which includes all matter cannot be created nor destroyed, then that means every bit of matter that exists now, has always existed.
www.forbes.com/.../?sh=2706f0f94c2e
Since we know that you can’t have something created from nothing it requires a being able to create. Hence God. Things don’t create themselves.
This is not hard to understand.
So, science would actually support God’s existence. Things don’t create themselves. It’s really that simple.
God says he always existed.
“as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.”
Romans 4:17 ESV
““Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.””
Revelation 4:11 ESV
“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”
Psalm 90:2 ESV
“By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.”
Hebrews 11:3 ESV
You need a creator not subject to time and not subject to the laws of our physical world to be the source of all created things. There simply is no other way.
I’ll continue the conversation, but if ultimately you just keep rejecting the evidence I give you, what point is there.
You want me to prove God exists. I just did. Now I want you to prove to me he doesn’t exist. - +1 y
They have to be. Matter and energy are not created or destroyed. That means everything that was here on a molecular level and an atomic level when everything was created is here now. Maybe the form of those atoms and molecules has changed but they are here now. That’s because matter and energy can’t be created. Everything is created from something else. There is not nor will there ever be new matter. The matter may change form, but the amount of it must remain consistent. That also means by that same law that matter and energy can’t create itself. The rule is the same and has been since the first bits of matter appeared. Matter cannot be created. Therefore the Big Bang CANNOT be the origin of everything. Where did the densely packed atom that exploded into all the planets and cosmos and everything that exists come from? It cannot appear on it own according to scientific law. It too then needs a creator. Another scientific law is also broken in this theory IF people claim the atom appeared by itself, and that is that matter and energy cannot create themselves.
The Big Bang may or may not be an accurate model to explain how the solar systems and cosmos were formed, the process by which it happened, but it does not explain where matter and energy come from. It does not explain what the origin of all matter is, it at best can only explain how everything in the universe formed from that densely packed atom into its current state.
So, we need something from outside our space domain, meaning something not subject to the laws of science to have created everything because matter cannot self exist and it’s neither created or destroyed, thus someone had to have called matter and energy into existence from nothing, therefore matter could not appear on its own without an initiator. - +1 y
We also need a being outside our time domain. Our time domain goes from the creation of the first molecule until now. It doesn’t matter if from the point of creation until now was billions and billions of years ago or only about 6,000 years ago as some say. What must be understood is that 1. A creator is required as an initiator to creation and 2 that creator must be outside our time domain. God fits that position perfectly, he’s eternal, meaning he always was, and always will be. He existed from eternity past, and will exist until eternity going forward. God is self existent.
Without a creator whom is self existent you cannot explain the origins of creation. Whether you want to call that creator God, Allah, Buddha, or something else it doesn’t matter, there must be a creator because of everything I just said, and make no mistake it is the God of the Bible. It is simply impossible to explain the origins of all matter and energy without an intelligent creator because, once again, matter and energy cannot create themselves and they can’t be created at all in the known universe with the laws of science operating as they do and it can’t destroyed. We live in a closed loop system.
Science is not opposed to creationism. It simply has not attempted to prove there is a creator. Most scientists refuse to give a theory or explanation for the ultimate source of all matter in existence. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a God. It just means based on the laws of science which we know are factual and repeatable per the scientific method, that no attempt has been made in recent history by mainstream science to prove the God of the Bible exists and that he created everything.
God said he always was and will be, and that he created everything long before we even knew what the laws of thermodynamics were. It’s a good an answer as any and I don’t think it requires much faith to believe there must be a creator.
That’s just one of the proofs of God existing in regards to creation. - +1 y
There are many evidences for God existing, but when speaking of creation alone I cannot say I can 100% prove the God of the Bible exists, but I can say that there is 100% an intelligent creator who at the very least initiated everything.
The other evidences for God existing are in other fields of study, but there are many. There are also many more evidences that indicate undoubtedly that not only is there a creator, but the creator made everything by intelligent design. The creator deliberately created things with purpose in mind. That he did not create in such a way that all is as it is due to randomness, but rather by deliberate purpose. - +1 y
Ok then. I guess either the laws of thermodynamics are wrong or they are.
