For example most humans subjectively dislike murder cause they don't wanna die. That's why most humans agree that murder is bad.

"there is" is asking for an objective thing. so yeah. there is no purpose. you're not dictated to do anything. but you can find purpose and you can do the things that you think are good and right instead of blindy obeying someone telling you what to do. that might be a good idea as long as you're a naive child. but as an adult you should have learned to be responsible and not have your life dictated by some book or someone.

if i WAS wrong and there was a god, then obviously i have nothing to lose. i've still done my best to be a decent human. and if god is that vain that he wants to throw me in hell for just not believing in him, then fuck that asshole. then i'll happily go to hell just out of spite for that behavior.

by the way: the way heaven is described in scripture, it is not actually a place i would be. because what purpose do you have in heaven? none. you just exist. that's even less purpose there than in this earthen life.

Mayb it would help you understand what is going on here if you read the book from the beginning of 2nd Chronicles 18 and no just one verse. It was God's prophet against all the kings fake prophets. The kind was believing his prophets so God caused them to speak the truth instead of their made up stories they used to impress the king. God did not lie himself, he just made sure they told the truth.

You should get yourself a good Bible Commentary that explains what is going on in the verses you mention. I'm not a Biblical scholar and neither are you. So do a little reading and find out for yourself what is going on
