Why aren't men who get women pregnant held to the same level of abstinence from christians but women are told to abstain instead of an abortion?

Okay, I dont know what these comments are about, but they are. Men who abandon their kids are fucking roasted on every end of the isle. That isn't to say there aren't exceptions, families who pass off their son's dalliance as the temptations of a vile woman, but I think you'll find that Christian's, and people in general, are far more forgiving of abortions than the abandonment that would be the male equivalent.
