One of my friends always says bad things about Muslims. Another friend always says bad things about Christians. Is there a difference?

The only similarities they have is that they're monotheistic religions and offshoots of Judaism, while being inspired by Zoroastrianism and the Baylonian mythology. Otherwise, they're different in the way they recall past events and intepretations of God and the rules to follow. I'm sure you know Christianity is more centralized while Islam is not. They might share some beliefs like don't murder, rape, cheat, steal, etc., and help others, respect authority, pray often, etc.

However, they're very different in core values and micromanagement stuff. Examples would be Islam believes in full submission to Allah and that Muhammad is the last prophet; Christianity believes in the holy trinity and that through Jesus alone, all sins can be forgiven. Islam at its roots is a very imperialistic totalitarian religion, whereas Christianity is extremely pacifist. Islam has many different documents while Christianity is mostly limited to the Bible.

Yes, I know there are people within those faiths of various sects that disagree with me, and I don't care. Since I don't wanna bore people with a long essay, I'm not gonna go into specifics and start quoting verbatim from the Quran and Bible as evidence. There's already many online Muslim and Christian apologists and scholars if you wanna verify what I wrote. Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, and Ahmaddiyas are not real Christians nor Muslims.
