Probably better to call it "Persinger's flaw" or something. It's still dubious how the mind works, but we know paranoid and schizophrenics are reacting to some outside stimulus that we normal either don't have, or have the correct filters. as far as your point about auto-think I think you have a valid point, you hear that something is true and therefore you think it is true especially when you are a child you believe in Santa Claus is real you believe that the Easter bunny is real because you are trusting the natural human nature is to trust of those around you until you get hurt in which case you start distrusting those around you and it’s not until you build the intellect and the insight into believing who you can and cannot trust that is when you start looking at multiple opinions take politics for example and the Trump Mar-a-Lago raid. Actually, I think the raid was justified because it turned up a load of government documents Trump had stolen and pretended he didn't have. Both sides are rarely equal in American politics, one's usually based in fact, and the other in lies, and there's no middle ground between truth and lies.

As far as the documents go trump had the ability to declassify anything, He could have had top Secret documents and it wouldn’t have mattered because he could have declassified anything at anytime. There is no form the president has to fill out to declassify anything he could have given the nuclear codes to China and it won’t have been a crime. He would be a bastard for doing that yes but the president couldn’t be arrested for it. All the president needs to do is point and say “this is declassified”. And it’s declassified there no paper work for stamp of approval he has to get permission the bureaucracy.

we've talked about this Stoner. Presidents can't declassify nuclear documents without several agencies, like Department of Energy, to sign on. So IF there were nuclear documents in his closet, Trump should be hanged for treason.

@goaded and @OddBeMe 1st there is no form the President of the United States has to fill out to declassify any documents, Even the nuclear codes can be declassified by the president of the United States waving his had or pointing at the documents and saying these are declassified there is no paper work, he could literally tweet out the nuclear codes or hand the nuclear codes to Putin and it wouldn’t be a crime. There for he couldn’t have stolen any documents nor can the president mishandle classified information.

You also have to look at the James Comey standard he stated that because Hilary Clinton had do intent to distribute the documents she had on her private server where she destroyed evidence and it was leaked to Foreign nations she was still not indicted. So you have to use that standard for Trump you have no choice especially since she was the Secretary of State and hand no right to declassify information unlike the president himself. Oh and for the record tens of thousands of presidential documents were transferred from Barack Obama‘s White House to his private liberty. Why aren’t we going after Obama, seems like if democrats do it it’s perfectly fine when republicans do something it’s the worst thing in the world. So yes former President are above the law, this doesn’t mean he could go out and murder someone out of office but former President would have to do something like a mass shooting for them to get indicted especially when they have one more term they can run for. This is a natural flaw in all democracies not just ours. What Biden is doing here is much like what Putin did to Alexei Navalny lock him up for opposing Putin‘s political agenda

Nobody said anything about that he had to give it back beyond that and Trump had 15 boxes worth of documents versus Obama’s tens of thousands so as much as I would love to believe that nobody is above the law there is very clearly six people in this country that are above the law three of them are democrats. The people who are clearly above a lot are Jimmy Carter Bill Clinton George HW Bush Barack Obama and Donald Trump and of course Joe Biden‘s. Should that be the case no of course not what we’re dealing in reality not in fantasy always been people above the law in any nation from the start of humanity but if we were going to end date every single president that broke the law during the presidency there wouldn’t be a president that didn’t go to jail for a very long time after their presidency. The process for documents to go into a presidential library is that the National Archives gets them first, and the president asks for permission. I seriously doubt Obama took anything without clearing it, and absolutely certain that nothing was classified let alone Top Secret. This is just smoke to cover Trump's lawlessness.

Ill make a simple case to proof it, listen to a fictional audio book of your choice, one you never heard before. Do you automatically regard the information as true?

You express a dislike to Trump, listen to a speech of him. Did you automatically assume any of it was true?

The answer to both of these should be no if you have a healthy mind, it should regard the context of what you hear and dismiss its contents you do not agree with. And in case of the fiction, it should dismiss all of it as fiction since your listening to it knowing it is fiction.

You will need more brainwashing techniques to get that kind of point across than simply saying it and hoping that the person doesn't self-correct. If not, then people should probably avoid listening to podcasts and stuff in the background.
