One of my friends she is pentecostal and she played Christian music later she starts spinning around like crazy shaking herself. I got so scare what was that all about? My friend tells me that she has the holly spirit. Is this true? She also believes that woman shouldn't wear pants. What kind of church is this? I got so scare and terrified and left my friends house.

No where would you see in the Bible when the Holy Spirit came upon people they started shouting and acting crazy.

That speaking in tongues mumble and jumble is crazy too.

And woman can wear pants as long it's women pants/clothing.

No. I have witnessed before. I go to a Pentocostal church because its near my house but they are more controlled and don't act all crazy and do all that skaking nonsense.

Thankfully there is a way to test the spirit of a specific church. Does it comply with the description of the behavior of a congregation within the Bible, using the proper tools of exegesis?

Not all Pentecostals shake and quake. Some people feel the need to be showy or prove that they are blessed in any church.

Yes. I have a free Pentecostal friends have been a guest in their churches a few times. One had lots of people mumbling and fainting, one was just noisy, the other was just lots of praising and amens.

There are two views. The church was formed at Pentecost in Acts.-Those gifts in both Acts 2:4 and 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 ended at the Apostles death.
Cessationism is the orthodox Christian view that the miraculous, Apostolic gifts of the Spirit, such as tongues, healing, and prophetic revelation pertained to the Apostolic era only. This is explained in 1 Cor.13:8-12; Hebrews 2:3-4.

This point of view is Orthodox (Biblical Christianity).

The Pentecostals or any church with the name Apostolic in it, believe that the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit such as tongues, healing, miracles etc have not ceased and are available for the believer today (1 Cor 1:7) Continuation is opposite (NOT Orthodox Christianity) of Cessationism which teaches that supernatural gifts ceased at the death of the last Apostle..

Orthodox: --Providence of God: is where God accomplishes his Plan and Purpose through the use of Natural Law where He takes all the contingencies, all the actors and their activities, thoughts, words etc and pulls it all together creating exactly what He wills to do while He never interrupts the natural course of things. It is not determined as He lets man both choose and act against Hie precepts and Works through those actions. A miracle pales in comparison.
--Miracle: God suspends, against, and/or does something outside of Natural Law and acts of the Divine in a way that has no human explanation.
Providence is actually a "greater miracle" than a miracle because uses the created to accomplish rather than His immediate capability to perform change.

A “Biblical” one😎. There are a few varied type of Seminaries where I am as well. Some churches, like Moody Church, has a Seminary. The church I attend follows the Moody Church model.

If you follow his Method of reading 📖 Bible first.. thinking on it and his commentary then you will be fine. The catch is going to The Lord first rather than Wiersbe. It is a great, “Ohhh, I get that now!” Tool.
