Do you have to constantly study the bible to maintain your wisdom?

in 2020 and 2021 I was heavily focused on bible analysis and in 2022 I was focused more on book writing and lecture witnessing and it seems my intellectual skills have changed over the last few years. I looked at stuff I wrote around a year ago and it seems like it was written by somebody other than me.

Perhaps a BETTER question. Why do you study ONLY the Bible? and WHICH translation of "the Bible"?

I personally have at least EIGHT variants of HUMAN'S editing and abridgements of allegedly "God's words"... many of the earlier edition's languages have NO DIRECT EQUIVALENT meanings in the English language! And, understand... language's nuances are culturally CONTEXTUAL; what do YOU have in common with a 10 BCE fisherman or goat herder with a 4th grade education at best? How would YOU translate the nuances of an emoji or rapper's reference to a pre-technology average citizen?

FAR TOO MANY 'devout believers' gloss over the disquieting incongruencies. Wholely espousing THEIR'S as the only valid interpretation authorizing them to persecute any others! Because THEIR Clerics tell them so~

I study the Bible to deepen my relationship with God. Like any relationship, the more time you spend with the person the deeper it gets.

I believe so yes; I was heavily involved in the (Baptist) church since I was a child till the age of 12; after I lost my Grandmother & Grandfather I stopped going & went through some very dark trials in life. I started going again early this year & am heavily involved again re-establishing my relationship with God & this has had a tremendous impact on my life, particularly with learning to love my enemies & letting go of keeping score of perceived transgressions. Without Scripture I was lost in a sea of sorrow that I almost drowned in.

studding the Bible surely will give us wisdom, we do forget stuff cause we are in the flesh. its probably best to keep reading your Bible
